摘要: To control a hybrid dynamical system, a predictive feedback controller formulates a mixed-integer nonlinear programming (MINLP) problem including nonlinear functions of continuous optimization variables representing the continuous elements of the operation of the hybrid dynamical system and/or one or multiple linear functions of integer optimization variables representing the discrete elements of the operation of the hybrid dynamical system. The MINLP problem is formulated into a separable format ensuring that the discrete elements of the operation are present only in the linear functions of the MINLP problem. The MINLP problem is solved over multiple iterations using a partial convexification of a portion of a space of the solution including a current solution guess. The partial convexification produces a convex approximation of the nonlinear functions of the MINLP without approximating the linear functions of the MINLP to produce a partially convexified MINLP.

摘要: A device for controlling an engine includes: a first control circuit having a first controller, and a second control circuit having a second controller, the controllers being designed to control a state variable of the engine in each case. The second controller is disposed in such a way that it lies closer to the engine than the second controller in terms of signal technology.

摘要: A system and method are provided for estimating the operating speed of a turbocharger. A first pressure value corresponds to pressure at or near the air inlet of the compressor, and a second pressure value corresponds to pressure at or near the air outlet of the compressor. A temperature value corresponds to a temperature at or near the air inlet of the compressor, and a flow rate value corresponds to a flow rate of air entering the air inlet of the compressor. The operating speed of the turbocharger is estimated as a function of the first pressure value, the second pressure value, the temperature value and the flow rate value.

摘要: Systems and methods are described for powertrain controls optimization. One method comprises adaptively learning engine settings for a sparse sample of a speed-load map, which includes engine operation at boundary conditions of a speed-load map, and generating a dynamic node look-up table based on the learned engine settings for the sparse sample. The dynamic node look-up table may provide engine settings for engine operation at speed-load points not explicitly learned during the adaptive learning.

摘要: A tangible computer readable medium of a vehicle includes object code referencing a plurality of variables, the object code for: identifying sets of possible target values based on air and exhaust setpoints for an engine; generating predicted parameters based on a model of the engine and the sets of possible target values, respectively; selecting one of the sets of possible target values based on the predicted parameters; setting target values based on the selected one of the sets of possible target values, respectively; and controlling opening of a throttle valve based on a first one of the target values. The tangible computer readable medium also includes calibration data stored separately and that includes predetermined values for the variables referenced in the object code, respectively. At least one processor executes the object code using the predetermined values to perform the identifying, the generating, the selecting, the setting, and the controlling.

摘要: An engine controller, system and method for collecting vehicle data. Drive torque data is determined using the engine controller in the vehicle and is stored in a memory in the vehicle. The drive torque data is stored in a non-time domain format, and may include a histogram of numbers of revolutions at predetermined intervals of drive torque values and/or a matrix of rainflow cycle counts. The drive torque data is temporarily stored in a buffer prior to being stored in the matrix of rainflow cycle counts using back-checking and binning. The drive torque data is downloaded from the vehicle and transmitted to a central data collection center.

摘要: A method and system for blending between different torque maps of a vehicle in a smooth and progressive manner. Blending is delayed if the vehicle driver cannot detect that blending is taking place, for example, when the difference between a source map and target map is below a predetermined threshold.

摘要: A method for controlling an electrical system in a vehicle. The electrical system (11) comprises: at least a first switch (ES2) arranged such that operating the switches will isolate a part of the electrical system; and a control unit, the control unit being arranged to operate the switches. The method comprises: putting the control unit into a first operational mode, the first operational mode comprising at least a first arrangement of switches; receiving a request to enter a second operational mode, the second operational mode comprising at least a second arrangement of switches; determining the priority of the first and second operational modes at least in part by consulting a database of operational modes and their priorities; switching the control unit into the second operational mode if the second operational mode has a higher priority than the first operational mode; and continuing in the first operational mode otherwise.

摘要: An engine is provided with an ECU for executing engine control by using various control parameters. The ECU includes a learning map storing a learning value of the control parameter and executes weighting learning control of the learning value. In the weighting learning control, each time the control parameter is acquired, a weight wkij decreasing larger if a distance from a position of an acquired value zk of the control parameter to a grid point is larger is set to each of the grid points of the learning map. Then, on the basis of the acquired value zk of the control parameter and the weight wkij, the learning values Zij(k) at all the grid points are updated. As a result, all the learning values can be efficiently updated in one session of the learning operation.

摘要: A system according to the principles of the present disclosure includes an acceleration delta module and a remedial action module. The acceleration delta module determines an acceleration delta of a vehicle based on a difference between an actual acceleration of the vehicle and a desired acceleration of the vehicle. The acceleration delta module also determines an average value of the acceleration delta corresponding to at least one of a first predetermined period and a predetermined number of samples of the acceleration delta. The remedial action module, based on the average value of the acceleration delta and independent of a torque command generated to accelerate the vehicle, selectively takes a remedial action by adjusting operation of at least one of an engine and an electric motor.
