    摘要: There is provided a musical score display apparatus which can display a musical score at multiple levels ranging from a partial part to all parts and can display a comment relating to the displayed musical score based on the creation date and time, and a program for realizing a musical score display method. Comment data created in a setting period are displayed on a timeline by using comment icons at positions corresponding to creation date and time. When the highest level button among level selection buttons is operated, the comment icons relating to all parts are displayed on the timeline. When the lowest level button is operated in this state, the comment icon relating to the part to be deleted when the lowest level is selected is also deleted from the timeline in the display musical score of all parts.

The method includes causing the display of a musical arrangement having a global tempo. The method includes adjusting the variable tempo of the audio file, wherein the variable tempo begins at an initial tempo and adjusts to an end tempo over a set length of time. The method can also include outputting the audio file having the variable tempo in response to a command to play the musical arrangement.

    摘要: A playback apparatus is able to present song categories to the user that are suited to the current environmental noise. An audio pickup picks up noise data of the surrounding environment. A noise analyzer analyzes the noise data, and then extracts characteristic quantities expressing the characteristics of the noise data. A noise categorizer categorizes the noise data on the basis of the extracted noise data characteristic quantities. A content category database stores content data recorded onto a recording medium in association with categories based on characteristic quantities of the content data. A content category selector cross-references the noise data categorization result with the content category database, and on the basis thereof, selects a plurality of content data categories from among the categorized content data recorded onto the recording medium. A display unit then displays the selected plurality of content data categories.

    摘要: The invention provides apparatus and a method for creating a visual representation of music that conveys the musical form, structure, event surface, orchestration, and sonic framework of the piece being visualized. The representation comprises visual characters/sprites that move in time according to instructions from the metadata synchronized to the actual musical recording. These characters accurately portray the rhythm, pitch, and timbre of the individual elements in the musical surface (individual lines or performers) and have a hierarchy of representation, e.g. thematic elements that are divided into sub-elements (gestures or phrases) that are further divided into individual notes. The visual representation corresponds to the structure of the music as heard, where simultaneous harmonic events are parsed into individual notes which are then tied together into a rhythmic stream of linked events. Two streams of data (the “musical” and the “sonic”) are synchronized to the musical piece to drive the visualization.
