摘要: A terminal connector and wire connecting method thereof are disclosed. The terminal connector includes a metal electric wire terminal, a metal material with the low melting point and an insulated sleeve. One section of the metal electric wire terminal bends to a C-shaped section with a vertical slot where an electric wire is. Another section of the metal electric wire terminal used to connect an outer terminal. The metal material with the low melting point is embedded the vertical slot of the C-shaped section. The insulated sleeve mounted the C-shaped section and the metal material with the low melting point. Providing an application of heat melts the metal material with the low melting point, the C-shaped section, and the electric wire. At the same time, the insulated sleeve shrinks and wrapped the metal electric wire terminal connector and the electric wire. The connection of the connector assembly and the electric wire is complete.

摘要: A conductive portion of a wire, composed of a plurality of core wires, is inserted and fitted into a groove in a pressing die, thereby restricting the conductive portion to a bonding width of a terminal, and in this condition with the use of a press forming machine, the conductive portion is pressed in a thickness direction thereof to be formed into a flat shape. Thereafter, the conductive portion is inserted and fitted into the terminal, and then the conductive portion, while pressed by a pressing vibration horn, is bonded to the terminal by ultrasonic vibrations applied from the pressing vibration horn.

摘要: An electrical plug connector containing at least two contact partners which can be linked together in an overlap region to establish an electrical contact between them. At least one of the contact partners includes an electrically conductive material that converts to a liquid aggregation state at a predetermined temperature threshold. The liquid aggregation state is guided at least proportionately into the overlap region between the contact partners to establish the electrical contact.

摘要: A contact element, in particular for a welded join, having a contacting region and an attachment region for an electrical conductor, the attachment region having a reduced material thickness as compared to the contacting region and being configured integrally with the contacting region. The contacting region has two sheet-metal parts, lying against one another, of a folded sheet-metal blank; and at least one portion which is elongated and deformed in order to form the attachment region.

摘要: A method is disclosed for terminating the metallic shield of a high speed cable which includes an inner dielectric inside the metallic shield, as well as a system for effecting the method. At least a portion of the outer jacket of the cable is removed to expose a portion of the metallic shield. An insulating member is positioned between the metallic shield and the inner dielectric of the cable. The cable then is positioned on a conductive terminating member having a portion in registry with the exposed portion of the metallic shield outside the insulating member. The metallic shield is soldered to the portion of the terminating member, as the insulating member protects the inner dielectric from the heat of the soldering step.

摘要: A flexible jumper is made by arranging a series of stranded conductors around a hollow core, placing a sleeve over the ends of the arranged conductors and then crimping the sleeve and conductors to provide a more dense conductor annulus between the sleeve and core. The solidified and concentric circularized conductor ends are soldered into a socket of respective terminations without the solder wicking up the conductors. A hose is sealed to each termination and water is circulated through the jumper. The jumper is more efficient, easier to make, and has a longer service life.

摘要: The method of providing an improved soldered electrical connection includes the step of providing a ring over an electrical wire and a terminal which are to be soldered together, and then compressing the ring to form a mechanical connection between the wire and the terminal prior to soldering. The mechanical connection holds the wire for a substantial length against the terminal and prevents movement during the soldering thereby insuring against a cold solder joint. Preferably, the ring is divided with the free ends preferably being offset to provide ease in sliding past each other. Preferably, a specially designed tool is utilized to compress the ring, the tool being provided with specially designed grooves in its jaws for holding the ring on end.

摘要: Terminating an electrical conductor composed of a plurality of conductive strands is accomplished by fusing together the strands at one end of the conductor and immersing the fused end of the conductor in a tinning bath vibrated at ultrasonic speeds, followed by the securing of a terminal to the tinned end of the conductor end preferably under a force sufficient to cause the tinning material to flow and create a metallurgical bond between the conductor and the terminal.
