    Abstract: A loudspeaker cabinet has a front panel, a back panel, and first and second panels connected with the front panel and the back panel. These four panels enclose a cabinet cavity that is elongated and tapered. The cabinet cavity has first and second openings at its far ends. One or more loudspeakers are mounted in the front panel. Damping material uniformly fills the cabinet cavity. The ratio of the fill density range and the material density is from 2.1 to 5%. If there are multiple loudspeakers, they can be equal and cover the full frequency range. They can be driven by a shared signal, without a crossover filter.

    Abstract: Monitoring performance of electric vehicle components using tonal analysis is provided. A system can receive audio data from an electric vehicle captured via a sensor associated with the electric vehicle, the audio data indicative of performance of an electric component of the electric vehicle. The system can detect a change in the performance of the electric component. The change can be detected based on a comparison of the audio data with an audio signature corresponding to the electric component of the electric vehicle. The system can provide a notification indicative of the change in the performance of the electric component responsive to the detection of the change in the performance of the electric component.

    Abstract: The present invention provides a speaker box including a housing, a sound unit and a magnetic circuit coupling valve. The sound unit includes a bracket, a vibration system and a magnetic circuit system including a secondary magnet. The housing includes a bottom cover having leakage holes. The magnetic circuit coupling valve is accommodated in a rear cavity and includes a support, a negative stiffness diaphragm and a coil. The negative stiffness diaphragm faces to the leakage holes. The coil receives an external control signal and generates an electromagnetic field with the secondary magnet to drive the negative stiffness diaphragm to seal the leakage holes, or make the leakage holes open, or make the leakage holes partially open or closed. Compared with a related technology, the speaker box has fine acoustic performance and is able to accurately control communication of a rear cavity with the outside.

    Abstract: A communication system for transmitting sound from a speaker to one or more listeners comprises a microphone configured to capture sound from the speaker and at least one personal audio output device respectively configured to be worn by the listeners. Each personal audio output device is in operative communication with the microphone to receive the captured sound therefrom. The respective audio device comprises a housing configured to be worn by the respective listener; a speaker assembly arranged to be located adjacent ears of the respective listener for emitting sound to the listener's ears; and a sound generation module operatively connected to the speaker assembly and configured to emit sound via the speaker assembly to the respective listener. The respective audio device is configured to concurrently emit, via the speaker assembly, to the respective listener, sound from the microphone and sound from the sound generation module.
