Abstract: An inertial sensor and a method therefor. The inertial sensor includes: a first substrate; a medium layer stacked on the first substrate; a first electric-conductive layer stacked on the medium layer, first openings being formed in the first electric-conductive layer and spaced from one another; second electric-conductive layers being bonded to the first electric-conductive layer through bonding structures, a gap being formed between adjacent second electric-conductive layers, which are connected to each other by a connection part, and second openings being formed in each of the second electric-conductive layers and spaced from one another; and a second substrate covering the first substrate, a closed space being formed between the second substrate and the first substrate. Compared with a traditional single-layer structure, the die size is reduced, the manufacturing cost is reduced, and the integration of device into portable consumer applications is improved, and XY axis sensitivity is improved.

Abstract: An MEMS device, including: a substrate having a back cavity; a diaphragm connected to the substrate and covers the back cavity, the diaphragm includes first and second membranes arranged oppositely, and accommodation space is formed therebetween; a counter electrode in the accommodation space and includes annular beams and first spokes, the annular beams are successively arranged at intervals, and the first spokes extend radially outward from an axis of the counter electrode, an end of the first spokes is connected to the substrate, and two adjacent first spokes and two adjacent annular beams jointly form a first through hole; and a support arranged corresponding to the first through hole, and opposite ends of the support are respectively connected to the first and second membranes. This configuration is more sensitive to sound pressure and is conducive to realizing low-noise microphone while optimizing sensitivity.

The device sheet defines a functional cavity having a first region, a second region, and a third region. The at least two device structure layers and the at least one conductive structure layer each are across the first region, the second region, and the third region, and the at least two device structure layers and the at least one conductive structure layer cooperatively form a first movable structure in the first region, define an anchor point in the second region, and form a second movable structure in the third region.

Abstract: Provided is a resonator. The resonator includes: at least one air cavity and a plurality of air passages communicating with the air cavity. The air cavity and the plurality of air passages are tuned to generate one or more acoustic resonances. Therefore, the desired low acoustic damping can be reasonably well maintained, while distributing higher modes over a wider set of frequencies, while also making each of them proportionally weaker. Thus, they may be more easily made weak enough not to interfere with the desired behaviour of the overall acoustic resonator construction.
