摘要： A chamfer cutting device for cutting packaging materials (9) comprises a die (1) and a knife part which has a plurality of knives (2). The die (1) can be moved toward the knife part in order to carry out a cut. The knives (2) are arranged individually in the knife part in a force-dependent manner in such a way that their position with respect to the tool plate (4) varies in a defined way as a function of the force produced by contact with the packaging material (9) or the die (1). In the event of contact between the knife (2) and the die (1), a force acts on the knife (2) which does not exceed a predefined maximum force. The chamfer cutting device has the advantage that the die (1) can be guided right up to the knives (2).

摘要： Method and apparatus for trimming an article integrally differentially pressure formed in a sheet of thermoplastic material comprising a pair of trim dies which are relatively moveable between spaced apart positions for receiving a sheet carrying an article to be trimmed, closed positions, engaging opposite sides of the sheet, and then to sheet severing positions in which an article is severed from the sheet. The dies are relatively moved via a wedge which is transversely moveable on the machine and includes a first sharply inclined wedge surface for rapidly advancing the trim dies from the spaced apart positions to the closed positions. A second, less inclined wedge surface, which is a continuation of the first wedge surface, is provided for moving the trim dies from the closed positions to the sheet severing positions. Servomotor driven crank mechanism is provided for selectively transversely concurrently moving the wedges in opposite direction through selected lengths of travel to selectively move the trim platen to any selected one of a plurality of different strokes between the open positions and the closed positions.

摘要： An apparatus for trimming a ring from the neck of a blow molded plastic bottle includes a reverse punch for cutting a ring from the neck and positioning the ring on the punch shaft and a ring stripper for cutting one side of the ring on the punch shaft and stripping the ring from the shaft. The ring stripper travels transversely of the punch shaft. As the reverse punch is retracted with the cut ring on the punch shaft, the ring stripper is moved transversely across the path of the punch shaft. The ring stripper engages an edge of the cut ring and subsequently moves the cut ring away and severs one side to strip the ring from the shaft.
