摘要: A first embodiment of a radially disposed thrust bearing assembly for rotary cone rock bits consists of a first non-rotating radially disposed steel thrust bearing disc and an adjacent, carbide thrust bearing disc. One of the thrust bearing discs is pressed into a disc retention socket formed in the end of a spindle bearing extending from the end of a main axially aligned bearing cantilevered from a leg of the bit and the other thrust bearing disc is pressed into a disc retention socket formed in the rotary cone. An edge of the carbide disc is formed with large valleys and peaks, the robust undulations resist cracking when the carbide thrust bearing disc is pressed into its respective socket. Unique air passages and channels are formed in the main and spindle bearings to direct cooling air to the thrust bearing discs. A second embodiment of a radially disposed thrust bearing assembly for rotary cone rock bits consists of a pair of preferably carbide thrust buttons, each of which has a central bore and a plurality of channels on its back face. The channels and central bore communicate with an air passage through the bit so as to provide a flow of cooling fluid such as air to the back of each thrust button. The invention further includes thrust bearing systems in which both of the thrust buttons comprise hard metal or sintered material.

摘要: A rectilinear motion rolling guide unit comprises: a long track rail having an I-shaped cross section; a casing having an inverse U-shaped cross section; and rolling elements interposed between the track rail and the casing. The casing rides over the track rail through a cavity portion having an inverse U-shaped cross section formed in the central lower portion of the casing. The corners of the upper and lower projecting portions on both sides of the rail are chamfered into inclined surfaces, thereby forming two upper and lower rail side track surfaces. Two upper and lower casing side track surfaces are formed on the inner peripheral surfaces of the cavity portion at the positions corresponding to the rail side track surfaces. The rolling elements are interposed between the opposite rail side and casing side track surfaces, respectively, thereby allowing the relative free slide motion to be executed between the track rail and the casing. Return passageways are formed in the casing. Two direction turning passageways for the rolling elements which roll on the casing side track surfaces are formed in the side plate. Two side plates are attached to both ends in the longitudinal direction of the casing. The casing side track surfaces and the return passageways are coupled, thereby forming two endless rolling element circulating passageways which perpendicularly cross into the casing. Lengths of load track surfaces of the circulating passageways are equal. Balls roll on one of the load track surfaces and the rollers which are arranged in parallel roll on the other load track surface.

摘要: In a drawer guide with a guide rail to be fastened to the wall of a cabinet, the guide rail enters from below into a corresponding tubular runner rail of an open-bottomed rectangular or square cross section which is to be fastened removably to the drawer, and which contains in its interior races for rolling bodies held in an elongated cage. The rolling bodies can roll on the races of the guide rail on the one hand and on races formed by associated areas of the inner surface of the runner rail and thus permit a longitudinal movement of the runner rail relative to the guide rail, the rolling bodies that serve to accommodate the weight load being formed by a series of rollers with their horizontal axes disposed athwart the direction of drawer movement and the rolling bodies that serve for lateral guidance and stabilization being formed by two rows of balls disposed at a different level than the rollers, one on each side of the guide rail. The race provided for the rollers on the guide rail has a convexly curved cross section in order thus to permit the runner rail to be canted relative to the part of the guide rail provided in its interior.
