摘要： A hydrocarbonous-based cosmetic product, such as a lipstick, has its surface treated by means of a plasma treatment process employing a halogen gas. The treated (i.e., halogenated) surface has a uniform, satin-matte finish, as well as a lower wetting angle with respect to certain materials capable of providing the cosmetic product with an ultra-glossy finish. Thus, if such materials are subsequently applied to the halogenated surface of the cosmetic product, the cosmetic product can be provided with an ultra-glossy finish.

摘要： Loading and solidifying of a cosmetic material is achieved by dripping a viscous cosmetic material into a container having a filter bottom, interposing a liquid absorbent membrance between the container and a presser, compressing the cosmetic material by the presser with the membrance interposed therebetween, and squeezing a solvent from the cosmetic material through the filter during such compression. A supporting block holds the container in position for it to be subjected to vacuum suction. The presser includes inner and outer pressing blocks and drives for moving the pressing blocks. The inner block is capable of fitting into the container to compress the cosmetic material, while the outer block abuts against the upper rim of the container.

摘要： Assembly of stick-type cosmetics such as lipsticks is fully automatized by highly coordinated operation of a pair of robots each accompanied with sequential operational units arranged within the ambit of its operational terminal so that sticks and bottles are transferred upside down from unit to unit for application of sequential operations and combined with each other and further with caps to form complete stick-type cosmetics. Simple adjustment in numerical control of the robots and their operational terminals will span a wide variety of quality demands in the market, and will make the system well suited for small scale production with high lot number in which shifting of lots is highly frequent. There is no manual touching of the sticks during assemblage which enables high level of sanitization of the whole system.

摘要： The present invention relates to a method of forming and containerizing a multiphase cosmetic composition such as for example, a cleansing cream-astringent composition comprised of a cream phase and a gel phase combined to form the cosmetic composition or product. The method disclosed herein basically entails directing at least two initially separate and distinct phase compositions to a dispensing head and simultaneously dispensing the at least two phase compositions from the dispensing head into an offset rotatively driven container. Initially the dispensing head is positioned about the lower portion of the container and once dispensing is commenced, the dispensing head is slowly moved vertically from the lower portion of the container to the top thereof and during this movement each phase of the multiphase compositions is simultaneously dispensed therefrom and a stirring effect is achieved by the rotating container and a plurality of stirring rods disposed about the dispensing head. Once filled, the multiphase cosmetic composition dispensed within the container assumes a generally swirled type or marble like configuration and appearance throughout the container with the respective phases being disposed in generally side-by-side relationship, stable, generally separate, and visually distinct.
