    摘要: A method for securing a downhole assembly to a casing string disposed within a wellbore includes moving, in a first direction, at least a portion of the downhole assembly within a passageway of a landing nipple that forms a portion of the casing string; exchanging a wireless signal between a first communication device that is coupled to the downhole assembly and a second communication device that forms a portion of the nipple; and preventing further movement of the downhole assembly, relative to the nipple, in the first direction in response to the exchange of the wireless signal and when the first communication device is spaced from the second communication device in the first direction.

The array of sensors may include a plurality of connected sensors, wherein at least one of the plurality of connected sensors is at least partially encompassed in a shroud. A snorkel line may extend from the shroud, the snorkel line capable of coupling with a sensor port in a tubular of the tubular string. The snorkel line may establish fluid communication between one of the sensors at least partially encompassed in the shroud and a corresponding sensor port of a tubular in the tubular string.

    摘要: A wellbore isolation device is provided which includes a tubular body having an external surface and an inner bore formed longitudinally through the tubular body. The tubular body has an expanding section transitionable from an initial configuration to an expanded configuration. One or more fins project radially from the external surface of the expanding section. The fins are anchorable into surrounding surfaces when the expanding section transitions to the expanded configuration. A plugging element is positioned, after the expanding section is in the expanded configuration, to restrict fluid communication through the inner bore.

A downhole expandable liner hanger positionable in a subterranean wellbore may comprise an expansion element. The expansion element may comprise a tubular body. The expansion element may comprise one or more annular seals bonded to the tubular body. The expansion element may comprise a first spike extending from the tubular body. The expansion element may comprise a second spike extending from the tubular body. The downhole expandable liner hanger may further comprise a first slip ring, wherein the first slip ring is disposed around the tubular body of the expansion element between the first spike and the second spike, wherein the first slip ring is configured to expand radially as the expansion element expands.
