    摘要: A liquid pressure tank is provided for storing liquid under pressure for use in domestic or commercial reticulated supply of the type having an impervious bladder dividing the tank into an air chamber and a liquid chamber, a constant amount of air being maintained in the chamber under pressure. A liquid pump and pressure switch system is provided for maintaining liquid in the chamber between preset pressure limits, and the tank includes a liquid outlet control comprising a seat member and a resilient disc member mounted in spaced relation from the seat and arranged to be deformed around the seat when contacted by the bladder mounted therearound to at least partially close the outlet and prevent rupturing of the bladder when liquid is substantially exhausted from the tank.

    摘要: This invention relates to the art of pressure vessels of the type having a cylindrical container, one end of which is closed and has a port, and the other end of which defines an open mouth. The container has a deformable bladder of resilient material positioned therein, said bladder having a large mouth with an annular supporting member secured thereto and extending outwardly therefrom. The free edge portion of the supporting member which is longitudinally spaced from the region where the bladder is secured thereto, extends into an annular groove defined between the inner surface of the open mouth of the container and the outer periphery of a cover member positioned in the upper portion of the supporting member, the opposed surfaces of the annular groove and the free edge portion of the supporting member being bonded together to seal the container.

    摘要: An automatic precharge gas pressure adjuster for a hydraulic desurger for automatically adjusting the precharge gas pressure in response to operating changes in system fluid pressure thereby maintaining a constant volume of precharge gas in the desurger. The adjusting unit comprises a cylinder divided into two chambers by a spring-biased differential-area piston. The system fluid pressure communicates with the chamber facing the first or largest area piston face while precharge gas communicates with the chamber facing the second or smallest area piston face. To assure the precharge gas pressure will be adjusted for changes in system operating pressure only, and not for mere surges, snubbing restrictions are placed in the means connecting the hydraulic system with the precharge gas adjusting unit.

    摘要: An upper gas chamber and a lower pressure fluid chamber separated from each other by a diaphragm deflectable in direction of the gas chamber in response to pressure fluid admitted into the lower chamber. The diaphragm comprises a peripheral portion which, by means of an annular element, is sealingly pressed against the inner wall of the reservoir. The annular element has an arcuately curved circumferential guide surface which faces towards the fluid pressure chamber such that upon admittance of a fluid pressure in this latter chamber the center portion of the diaphragm is deflected into the gas chamber whereby the peripheral portion contacts the guide surface of the annular element and is thereby arcuately deformed which avoids acute bending and consequent breaking of the peripheral portion.

    摘要: The pressure compensator and accumulator comprises a casing having ports at opposite ends. A hermetically sealed air chamber means of elastomeric material is loosely housed within the casing. The device is serially inserted in the flow line by connecting one port to an open end of the flow line, and connecting the adjacent open end of the flow line to the opposite port, whereby flow takes place through the casing from one port through the opposite port. Means are provided to prevent the blocking of the outlet port by the air chamber means when the means moves toward the outlet port under the influence of the flow.
