摘要： Integrated signal pair elements are disclosed that can be inserted into and removed from a backplane connector housing as a single piece. Each element includes an insulative frame that supports a pair of conductive terminals in a spaced-apart arrangement. The frame is attached to a ground shield that provides a ground plane that extends around three sides of the signal pair. Cable wires can be terminated to tail portions of the signal pair and an insulative material is molded over the cable wire termination area to form an integrated signal pair element. The individual signal pair elements may also be commoned together in a linear array of signal pair elements by a commoning member that contacts the ground shields of the array of signal pair elements.

摘要： Reconfigurable electrical and electronic communication receptacle boxes are in an assembly that has a face or plurality of faces having electrical and electronic communication receptacles. The faces are recessed from flanges which are mounted on a wall into which the assembly is inserted. The boxes in the assembly are secured to the wall by rotatable clips having a bent or kick to position correctly the clip when rotated. The assembly can be augmented after initial installation with minimal intrusion and destruction of the wall.

One example may provide an interposer having a housing and a plurality of contacts to connect a vertical tongue to a horizontal printed circuit board. The contacts may have a side or tongue connecting portion extending beyond a side of the housing and a bottom or board contacting portion extending beyond a bottom of the housing. The contacts may form a ninety-degree bend. A shield may at least substantially surround a vertical side of the housing.

摘要： A waterproof connection apparatus for electronic equipment includes: an approximately tubular outer case; a supporting portion accommodated in a wall form on a deep side of the outer case; a contact terminal supported by the supporting portion and introduced in the outer case; and a circumferential sealing portion provided at a position between the outer case and the supporting portion to seal a space between the outer case and the supporting portion. The sealing portion formed of an elastic material is provided so as to protrude outward from a portion of an outer circumferential surface of the supporting portion and the sealing portion is pressure-contacted to an inner surface of the outer case in a circumferential form in a state of press-fitting the protruding portion. In this way, it is possible to reliably prevent water from entering into the deep side of the outer case and to decrease the length.

摘要： In an optoelectrical connector including two connectors to be interconnected, each having at least one optical connection part and at least two electrical connection parts, the electrical connection parts of one of the connectors are pins and the electrical connection parts of the other connector are spring contacts. The connector having the spring contacts includes, before the spring contacts, positioning holes in which the pins are to be inserted. The tips of the pins come into contact with the spring contacts to make electrical connection. The bases of the pins fit in the positioning holes to perform positioning for optical connection. The optoelectrical connector can be smaller, lighter, and thinner.
