Abstract: Provided is a method for a user equipment (UE). The UE obtains a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) secondary cell (SCell) activation command from a primary cell (PCell) or primary secondary-cell-group cell (PSCell). The PUCCH SCell activation command is used for an PUCCH SCell activation of a target PUCCH SCell for the UE. The UE performs PUCCH SCell activation operations associated with a valid timing advance (TA) and the PUCCH SCell activation command. TA is considered to be a valid TA when the TA meets a preset criterion. The UE generates a channel state information (CSI) report for transmission to at least one of the PCell, PSCell and the target PUCCH SCell. The CSI report indicates that the PUCCH SCell activation is completed.

Abstract: A user equipment (UE) device is disclosed. The UE device comprises a processor configured to perform operations comprising receiving a downlink control information (DCI) from a base station. In some embodiments, the DCI comprises an indication to trigger a Type-3 hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) acknowledgement (ACK) feedback signal. The operations further comprise generating the Type-3 HARQ ACK feedback signal, based on processing the DCI. In some embodiments, the Type-3 HARQ ACK feedback signal comprises one or more HARQ-ACK bits for semi-persistent scheduling (SPS) physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) release(s). In some embodiments, each of the one or more HARQ-ACK bits for SPS PDSCH release(s) is adapted to include HARQ-ACK information for an SPS PDSCH release associated with the UE. Further, the operations comprise sending the Type-3 HARQ-ACK feedback signal to the base station.

Abstract: This disclosure relates to techniques for determining a quasi-co-located assumption for aperiodic channel state information reference signals for multi-transmission-reception-point operation in a wireless communication system. Abstract: Features for increasing sounding reference signal (SRS) resource capacity for wireless communications may include introducing a larger comb size with comb hopping, providing support to determine the slot offset and/or comb offset for aperiodic SRS based on downlink control information (DCI) alone or based on both DCI and radio resource control (RRC), applying RB level frequency hopping within an SRS resource across different symbols, and/or applying time domain orthogonal cover code (TD-OCC) to symbols within an SRS resource. The TD-OCC may be applied to SRS for codebook, non-codebook and antenna switching, and may also be applied simultaneously with comb hopping and/or RB level hopping in certain scenarios.
