Disclosed are an epoxy compound having an alkoxysilyl group, a composite of which exhibits good heat resistant properties and/or a cured product of which exhibits good flame retardant properties, a method of preparing the same, a composition comprising the same, and a cured product and a use of the composition. An alkoxysilylated epoxy compound comprising at least one of Chemical Formula S1 substituent and at least two epoxy groups in a core, a method of preparing the epoxy compound by an allylation, a claisen rearrangement, an epoxidation and an alkoxysilylation, an epoxy composition comprising the epoxy compound, and a cured product and a use of the composition are provided. The composite of the disclosed exhibits improved chemical bonding, good heat resistant properties, a low CTE, a high glass transition temperature or Tg-less The cured product of the composition exhibits good flame retardant properties.

This invention relates to a method of, in an eco-friendly manner, preparing a furfuranol-based compound and a 2-furancarboxylic acid-based compound using an ionic liquid as a reaction solvent, which includes reacting a furfural-based compound with a hydroxide of an alkali metal or an alkaline earth metal using an ionic liquid as the solvent, thus obtaining a furfuranol-based compound and a 2-furancarboxylic acid-based compound, and in which water is not used as the reaction solvent, thus preventing the generation of reaction wastewater, and the ionic liquid used as the solvent can be easily recovered and reused.

The present invention relates to a method for preparing titanium dioxide paste for dye sensitized solar cell, and more specifically a method for preparing titanium dioxide paste fir dye sensitized solar cell, which is curable at a low temperature and is able to form a uniform coating layer and exhibits relatively high energy conversion efficiency. The present invention also relates to a method for preparing low temperature curable paste which requires no separate dye adsorption process or can improve energy conversion efficiency by adding dye or metal precursor in advance.

Disclosed herein is an apparatus and method for continuously producing and dehydrating gas hydrates. The apparatus includes a gas source, a water source, a reactor, a spinning wheel, and a centrifugal separator. The gas source and the water source are connected to the reactor. Gas and water are respectively supplied from the gas source and the water source into the reactor and react with each other in the reactor to form gas hydrate slurry. The spinning wheel and the centrifugal separator are provided in the reactor. The spinning wheel supplies the formed gas hydrate slurry to the centrifugal separator. The centrifugal separator dehydrates the gas hydrate slurry. Water removed from the gas hydrate slurry by the dehydration of the centrifugal separator is re-supplied into the reactor.
