Abstract: To substantially reduce inequality in hot combustion flow rates through first and second heat exchanger tubes from a fuel-fired heating appliance burner box connected thereto and internally combusting a fuel/air mixture received therein from a source thereof to create the hot combustion gas, a perforated diffuser member having a non-uniform perforation pattern is provided. The fuel/air mixture is flowed through the perforated diffuser member into the interior of the burner box. The non-uniform perforation pattern of the diffuser member functions to alter relative combustion gas flow rates through the first and second heat exchanger tubes in a manner reducing an undesirable operating temperature differential therebetween.

Abstract: A light module can comprise a light emitting diode that generates light and an optic that manipulates or manages the resulting light. The optic can direct the generated light off axis, resulting in an illumination pattern that is biased towards one side of the light module, for example in a desired direction. Thus, the optic can transform the emission pattern of the light emitting diode to create an illumination pattern that is aimed in a desired direction. The optic can comprise a light-blocking shield to suppress, manage, or redirect light that would otherwise emanate from the light module in an unintended direction, for example opposite the desired direction.

Abstract: A lighting device include a first string of light emitting diodes (LEDs) to emit a white light having a warm white Correlated Color Temperature (CCT) and a second string of LEDs. The second string of LEDs includes blue light LEDs that emit a blue light and green light LEDs that emit a green light. The lighting device further includes a tuning circuit to adjust an amount of current flowing through the second string of LEDs. The warm white light, the blue light and the green light produce a combined light, and a CCT of the combined light is tuned by adjusting the amount of current flowing through the second string of LEDs.

Abstract: Compositions and methods of utilizing the same are provided for treating bacterial infections. The compositions comprise acidified nitrite in combination with an iron chelator and an antibiotic. The compositions of the present invention are effective at treating bacterial infections with minimal to no side effects. Surprisingly, the combination of these three agents has a synergistic effect, which advantageously permits a lower dose of one or more of the active agents (e.g., the antibiotic).

Abstract: A service provider based security system of a cellular network includes a security device that is deployed in the cellular network. The security device receives and monitors cellular network traffic to identify a data packet of the cellular network traffic that is associated with a graphics protocol. Responsively, the security device creates a digital fingerprint using unique service provider specific information and/or a portion of the data packet. The security device encrypts the digital fingerprint. Further, the encrypted digital fingerprint is embedded in a header of the identified data packet and/or stored in a database coupled to the security device for further access by authorized users. Additionally, the security device determines a security action that is to be executed in association with the identified data packet.

Abstract: A composition of botulinum toxin is claimed which can penetrate into the ocular surface inclusive of a penetration through a conjunctiva, cornea, and other structures. This composition allows for a maximal penetration of a topical preparation of botulinum toxin which serves to reduce the need for frequent allergy drops for the treatment of ocular surface disease and other conditions causing ocular surface inflammation or deep ocular inflammation. No puncture of the needle is necessary for the administration. Herein describes a novel composition using several principles based on composition, method of application, which enhances the effectiveness of the penetration.

Abstract: A water heater has a tank defining an interior volume, a heating element disposed within the interior volume, and a temperature sensor disposed with respect to the heating element so that the temperature sensor detects temperature of an area ambient to the heating element in the interior volume. Abstract: A downhole energy transmission system is described. The system can include a tubing string having a number of tubing pipe disposed within an annulus formed by a casing string disposed within a wellbore, where the tubing string has at least one wall forming a cavity.
