摘要: Systems and methods for improving an individual's response are disclosed. A system for improving an individual's response comprises an item of headwear having a microphone; a speaker; a recording device secured to a front of the item of headwear; an electroencephalogram cap for measuring and recording electrical activity in the individual's brain; and a computing device. The computing device includes machine readable media; an input device; an output device; a communication device for communicating over a network; a processor in data communication with the machine readable media, the input device, and the output device; and electronic instructions that, when executed by the processor, perform steps for causing the speakers to project noise to the individual and actuating the recording device to record the individual's field of view. The microphone allows the individual to communicate, over the network, with a third party.

摘要: Compositions and methods are provided for treatment of a wellbore in a subterranean formation. Exemplary compositions comprise a mixture of particles, some of the particles being degradable and other particles being elongated, having good compressive strength, and not being readily degradable at the conditions of the formation. The mixture of particles can temporarily bridge or plug fractures within the formation, and thus acts as a temporary diversion agent. After the degradable particles dissolve, the particles which are not readily degradable can remain in the fracture, helping to keep the fracture open and acting as a proppant.

摘要: Disclosed herein is a modular structural and electrical building system. The system includes first and second structural support members. In use, the second end of the first structural support member is adjacent the first end of the second structural support member. The system further includes at least one conductor bar secured to each of the structural members. In addition, the system utilizes conductor bar connectors for maintaining electrical connectivity from one conductor bar to the next on the same structural support member and a power drop connector for connecting electrical power carried by the conductor bar to various pieces of equipment. In addition, a jump cable provides a bridge for electrical power from the conductor bar on the first structural member to the conductor bar secured to an adjacent structural member.

摘要: A method for adaptively teaching content to a user comprises providing a plurality of teaching topics. The method includes sequentially associating a lead problem and a plurality of secondary problems with each of the plurality of teaching topics. Each of the lead problems and the plurality of secondary problems is an open-ended puzzle having a range of solutions and a difficulty rank. The range of solutions for each of the lead problems and the plurality of secondary problems has an optimal solution and a plurality of secondary solutions. A teaching topic is selected and a corresponding lead problem is presented to a user. User provides answer data via a physical input device having enmeshed gears. The user is provided another secondary problem in the selected teaching topic if the answer data matches one of the secondary solutions. The user is provided another lead problem if the answer data matches the optimal solution.
