摘要: A system of high-frequency (HF) antennas is disposed on various aircraft body panels. The antennas are configured for orthogonal polarization such that NVIS may be operable no matter the state of the ionosphere. The antennas are disposed on substantially perpendicular body panels so that, when operated in concert, the resulting signals have opposite polarization and at least one signal will bounce off the ionosphere.

摘要: Disclosed are methods for detecting a presence or absence of an antimicrobial surface coating including applying at least one detectable fluorophoric dye compound to a substrate, irradiating the surface of the substrate with ultraviolet radiation in the 100-415 nm wavelength range to excite the detectable fluorophoric dye compound, observing fluorescence of the excited fluorophoric dye compound, and determining the presence or absence of the antimicrobial surface coating based on the observed fluorescence. Further disclosed are antimicrobial surface coating solutions, methods for their application, and methods for confirming the presence and coverage of antimicrobial surface coatings.

摘要: A method of binder jetting additive manufacturing for veneer applications may include, but is not limited to, loading a mixture of material into one or more feed boxes of a binder jetting additive manufacturing device, depositing a layer of the mixture of material into a working chamber of the binder jetting additive manufacturing device, applying a coating to the layer of the mixture of material, and curing the coating applied to the layer of the mixture of material to form a portion of a veneer product, actuating a working surface of the working chamber, depositing an additional layer of the mixture of material into the working chamber, applying an additional coating to the additional layer of the mixture of material, and curing the additional coating applied to the additional layer of the mixture of material to form an additional portion of the veneer product.

摘要: A non-uniform sampling pADC is disclosed. The pADC may include an optical pulse source configured to generate uniform optic pulses. The pADC may include a non-uniform sampling system. The non-uniform sampling system may include a timing control sub-system configured to control the timing of the optical pulse source. The pADC may include an optical modulator configured to modulate the non-uniform optical pulses. The pADC may include a photodetector configured to convert the modulated non-uniform optic pulses into electronic pulses. The pADC may include a pulse capture assembly configured to capture a pulse amplitude of the electronic pulses and generate sampled radio frequency output pulses. The pADC may include a quantizer configured to quantize the sampled radio frequency output pulses and generate digital radio frequency output signals.

The tool may further include a controller to generate separate overlay measurements for orthogonally-oriented grating-over-grating structures in the two or more cell pairs.

摘要: A beverage maker platen overflow sensing system is disclosed. The sensing system includes a process control board (PCB) in communication with solenoid valves of a manifold, the solenoid valves controlling the flow of hot water (e.g., for brewing coffee or tea) into a server positioned in a platen of the beverage maker. The PCB further includes an overflow detection circuit connected to the solenoid valves. Two signal probes are positioned near the forward edge of the platen. Similarly, ground probes are positioned in the platen below the signal probes and providing a ground path to the PCB. The overflow detection circuit generates an electrical signal between the signal probes and detects an overflow state when fluid in the platen grounds the signal between the signal probes and the ground probes. While the overflow persists, the overflow detection circuit ceases the water flow by electrically signaling the solenoid valves to close.

The imaging sub-system may include a field-repositioning optical relay to relay images of the two or more acquisition fields to a scanning detector including one or more pixel columns distributed along a column direction, where the field-repositioning optical relay positions the images of the two or more acquisition fields on the scanning detector along the column direction.

摘要: A system and method for analog estimation of a spectral correlation function (SCF) provides a photonic carrier to generate a signal comb and offset comb, each comprising N comb tones separated by respective repetition rates ΔF and ΔF+δF. The signal and offset combs are amplitude-modulated according to an inbound RF signal of interest and filtered via periodic optical filters to produce a sequence of N Fourier components of the signal comb and N Fourier components of the offset comb, each filtered signal comb component overlapping with a filtered offset comb component. In-phase/quadrature (I/Q) components of the products of each component of the complex conjugate of the filtered offset comb and the overlapping counterpart of the filtered signal comb are generated in an optical receiver and digitized into slices of the SCF at a fixed time instance and center frequency, correlated at various cyclic separations α.

摘要: Combined taxi signage may be generated from taxi signage for a first origination node and taxi signage for a second origination node, the first origination node and the second origination node being of a select proximity and orientation relative to an aircraft. The taxi signage for the first origination node may be generated from the first origination node and at least a first termination node stored within an airport surface routing network data, and a first turning angle determined based on a comparison between the first origination node and the at least the first termination node. The taxi signage for the second origination node may be generated from the second origination node and at least a second termination node stored within the airport surface routing network data, and a second turning angle determined based on a comparison between the second origination node and the at least the second termination node. The combined taxi signage may be included in a combined billboard displayed on the display device of the aircraft.
