摘要: A fluid meter is operated, in particular, for flow quantity determination of a flowing medium. A flow quantity determination is carried out with the aid of a measuring arrangement. A sensor arrangement determines a position and/or inclination. An axial and/or angular position of the fluid meter in relation to at least one establishable axis and/or direction is determined by way of the sensor arrangement, and the axial and/or angular position is used for the correction of the measurement values of the measuring arrangement. In addition, a convection flow of the medium is determined in the fluid meter, and a corrective for the measurement values of the measuring arrangement is derived from the convection flow which has been determined.

摘要: A method for evaluating discrete measurement data sequences of an ultrasonic flow measuring device having a recording frequency and ultrasound signal, includes determining time position or height of a maximum of a sinusoidal profile of a time sequence of evaluation values, determined as part of a measurement data sequence or cross-correlation of two sequences recorded at different positions of the device by determining a maximum evaluation value of the time sequence and evaluation values thereof adjacent thereto. Initial values, including an initial maximum value and time, are determined by quadratic fit of evaluation values. Output values including output time describing the position or output height describing the height of the maximum are determined by a determination relationship setting output values in relation with initial values and a calculation quantity formed from selected evaluation values for known recording frequency and known signal frequency and based on a known sinusoidal profile.

摘要: A pulse generator has a galvanically isolated output, in particular for a consumption meter. A control output of a control unit of the pulse generator is coupled to an input of an opto-isolator of the pulse generator in order to output at the output of the opto-isolator an output current controlled by the control unit. The opto-isolator is connected to a field-effect transistor in such a way that the output current from the opto-isolator charges a capacitor via a rectifying component, which blocks the capacitor from discharging via the opto-isolator. The voltage drop across the capacitor is the gate voltage of the field-effect transistor. The field-effect transistor switches the output of the pulse generator directly or indirectly.

摘要: An ultrasonic meter for recording a through-flow rate of a fluid has a fluid inlet, a fluid outlet, and a flow channel connecting the inlet to the outlet. In the changeover region a spacing between a central straight line of the measurement region and the side wall enlarges. The changeover region has, in the circumferential direction of the flow channel, several circumferential sections in which the enlargement of the spacing between the central straight line and the side wall takes place.

摘要: A measurement module determines a fluid quantity which relates to a property of a fluid located in or flowing through a measurement tube. The measurement module contains a base body, a control device and first and second oscillation transducers fastened at a distance from one another on the base body. The first and/or the second oscillation transducer is controlled by the control device to excite an oscillation of a side wall of the measurement tube when a contact face of the measurement module is coupled to the side wall of the measurement tube directly or via a coupling layer. The oscillation of the side wall excites compression oscillations of the fluid, which are conducted through the fluid to the respective other oscillation transducer and recorded the control device to determine a measurement quantity. The fluid quantity can be determined by the control device in dependence on the measurement quantity.
