Abstract: A force transfer system includes a body and an article. The article includes a first portion forming a first lateral axis and a second portion forming a second lateral axis, the axes being offset. An intermediate member is disposed between the first portion and the second portion, and holds the second portion to the first portion. A stimulus received by the first portion causes a temporary alteration of the intermediate member from an initial condition, the alteration of the intermediate member thereby causing a change in a characteristic of the second portion. The intermediate member subsequently returns to the initial condition, thereby causing a change in a characteristic of the first portion, which is influenced by the change in the characteristic of the second portion. The change in the characteristic of the first and second portions prevents at least a portion of the stimulus from reaching the body.

The processor is configured to execute the instructions to: (a) obtain a wireless input from a mobile device; (b) access data stored in a remote database; (c) obtain a reading from at least one of the plurality of sensors; and (d) cause the dispenser to dispense a substance in response to the reading.

Abstract: A window system for dissipating impact forces happening upon a window includes first and second window panes spatially separated and surround by a window frame; and tubing positioned between the first and second window panes around a perimeter of the window. A waveform energy having a fundamental frequency is received by one of the first and second window panes and is partially transferred to the tubing. The tubing attenuates the impact of the energy on the window.

Abstract: A system for proactively adjusting to impact forces has first and second walls spaced apart from one another to define a stationary enclosed cavity therebetween; a movable member inside the enclosed cavity; an actuator; a proximity sensor; computer memory; a processor in data communication with the actuator, the proximity sensor, and the computer memory; programming causing the processor to determine a potential impact location on at least one of the first and second walls using data obtained from the proximity sensor; and programming causing the processor to activate the actuator based on the potential impact location, activation of the actuator causing the movable member to move inside the enclosed cavity prior to receiving the impact forces.

The display is non-perpendicularly angled from horizontal and has proximal and distal ends. And a closure device is provided for use with a watertight container. The closure device is configured to selectively seal an opening in the watertight container and includes coupling structure (a plug, a flange, and/or threading) for selectively coupling the closure device to the watertight container to seal the opening. The closure device further includes non-transitory computer memory, at least one sensor, and a processor in data communication with the memory and the at least one sensor.

Abstract: A system for monitoring at least one characteristic of biological material of an individual includes a wearable product. The wearable product includes an outer surface and a skin contact surface defining an internal area. An analysis portal is disposed in the internal area, and includes a sensing portion and an investigation portion. The sensing portion has at least one sensor, and the investigation portion that includes a computing device having a health screener. The sensing portion of the analysis portal comes into contact with a biological material of the individual, and the health screener is configured to determine at least one characteristic of the biological material. The computing device is communicatively coupled to the sensors and the display.
