Abstract:
Methods and systems of distributing individualized information are presented. First a mobile terminal with an identifier is used to read an information carrier to obtain at least one piece of identification-information carried on the information carrier, then it is determined whether the at least one piece of identification-information is matched with at least one of multiple pieces of pre-stored identification-information. If there is a match, at least one piece of distribution information associated with the identifier is determined from a set of distribution information associated with the at least one piece of identification-information according to at least one identifier matching rule matched with the identifier. The individualized methods and systems of the present invention greatly reduce requirements for network resource and computation resource.
Abstract:
A cover restricting mechanism is adapted for use in a foldable electronic device. The cover (10) has a first barrel portion (13) at one end thereof. The cover restricting mechanism includes a blocking element and a cushion device (20). The blocking element is secured to and protrudes out of the first barrel portion of the cover. The cushion device includes a sleeve (21) and an elastic element (22). The sleeve includes an extending portion (216) extending axially thereof. One end of the elastic element is secured on the sleeve. The other end of the elastic element protrudes out of the extending portion of the sleeve and abuts the blocking element.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to polypeptides having cellobiohydrolase II activity and polynucleotides having a nucleotide sequence, which encodes for the polypeptides. The invention also relates to nucleic acid constructs, vectors, and host cells comprising the nucleic acid constructs as well as methods for producing and using the polypeptides.
Abstract:
Provided is a poly(amino ester) having a polymer backbone comprising at least one secondary amine linkage and at least one tertiary amine linkage in the polymer backbone. Poly(amino ester)s are prepared via the Michael addition of a bis(acrylate ester)monomer to a diamine monomer, wherein the diamine monomer has one primary amino group and one secondary amino group, and can be end-capped by reaction with a suitable reagent. The inventive poly(amino ester)s may be used as vectors for delivery of a bioactive agent, such as DNA, to a cell.
Abstract:
A cover restricting mechanism (8) is adapted for use in a foldable electronic device (9). The foldable electronic device includes a cover (10). The cover restricting mechanism includes a follower (31), a housing (20), and a restricting mechanism (32). The follower is provided at one end of the cover. The housing has a cavity (21). The restricting mechanism is provided in the cavity of the housing, and when the cover is rotated to an open position, the follower rotates with the cover, and the restricting mechanism retards/slows the progress of the follower, thereby helping the cover to come more gently to a full, open position.
Abstract:
The present invention is directed to a detector for a high-density magnetic recording channel and other partial response channels. The present invention presents a method for decoding a high rate product code and a decoder which uses this method, comprising receiving a high rate product code; using a row detector to find a most likely codeword and a most likely error sequence for each row; and using a column processor to correct any remaining errors based on column parity bits and the most likely error sequence of each row. In a first aspect of the present invention, the row detector is implemented through a 2-VA detector. In a second aspect of the present invention, the row detector is implemented through a conventional VA detector and a hank of matched filters.
Abstract:
The invention provides poly(alkyleneimine)-graft-biodegradable polymers and methods for preparing such polymers. The poly(alkyleneimine)-graft-chitosan polymers may optionally contain a targeting element. The poly(alkyleneimine)-graft polymers may be used to deliver a bioactive agent into a cell.
Abstract:
A process is provided for chemically modifying a dual-layer hollow fibre, wherein the fibre comprises a first layer consisting essentially of a polyimide and a second layer consisting essentially of a polymer which is substantially unaffected by the chemical modification process. The process comprises contacting the polyimide layer with a polyamine. In addition, a process is provided for chemically modifying a polyimide membrane in general, using a process which comprises contacting the membrane with an alcoholic solution of an aliphatic-aromatic polyamine.
Abstract:
A system to reduce moisture in a device having at least one integrated desiccant housing to hold desiccant materials. The integrated desiccant housing protects a desiccant bag or tablet from being damaged in the process of packaging, transporting and storing the device. In particular, an diagnostic assay tray assembly having sample wells with active biochemical coatings can be better preserved by implementing one or a plurality of integrated desiccant housing therein.
