Abstract: A method and apparatus are disclosed from the perspective of a User Equipment (UE), wherein the UE is configured with multiple Bandwidth Parts (BWPs). In one embodiment, the method includes the UE receiving information from a network node to associate a RACH (Random Access Channel) configuration with a BWP among the multiple BWPs. The method further includes that the UE performing a RACH transmission in the BWP using the RACH configuration associated with the BWP.

Abstract: A method and apparatus are disclosed from the perspective of a network node. In one embodiment, the method includes configuring a UE (User Equipment) with a bandwidth part. The method further includes configuring the UE to use a bandwidth part timer for the bandwidth part. The method also includes configuring the UE with SPS resource on the bandwidth part. In addition, the method includes configuring the UE not to use the bandwidth part timer if length of the bandwidth part timer is shorter than SPS (Semi-Persistent Scheduling) interval for the SPS resource.

The method further includes the UE transmitting a RRC (Radio Resource Control) message to a network node to request sidelink resources from NR RAT for the one-to-one V2X sidelink communication and not transmitting any RRC message to the network node to request sidelink resources from LTE RAT for the one-to-one V2X sidelink communication.

Furthermore, the first UE negotiates a security configuration with the second UE for encrypting or decrypting data from the first service. In addition, the first UE initiates a second service. Abstract: Methods and apparatuses for triggering a beam state information report by a user equipment in a wireless communication system are disclosed herein. In one method, a user equipment measures multiple beam reference signals of non-serving beams from a cell and derives multiple values from measurements. The UE derives a first value, wherein the first value is a highest value, a lowest value, or an average value of the multiple values. The UE triggers to report a measurement result for a beam reference signal if at least one condition is satisfied, wherein the condition is based on comparing the first value to a threshold.

Abstract: Method and apparatus for handling upon UL timing asynchronism in a wireless communication system are disclosed herein. The user equipment (UE) maintains a timing advance (TA) value for each of a plurality of beams used for uplink transmissions to a cell, or a transmitter/reception point (TRP) operatively connected to a gNodeB. If less than all of the maintained TA values become invalid, then the UE will continue transmission on any beam for which the TA value remains valid, while discontinuing transmission on any beam with an invalid TA value.
