Abstract: An electrical plug connector includes an insulated housing and a metallic shell. The insulated housing includes a base member, an upper portion, a lower portion and defines a mating room between the upper portion and the lower portion. The upper portion and the lower portion are extending from one side of the base member. The metallic shell encloses the insulated housing, and includes a front shell and a rear shell. The front shell includes a front cover portion and a rear cover portion. The rear cover portion is extending from a rear side of the front cover portion. The rear shell encloses the front side of the base member and includes a front extending plate propped on the rear cover portion, so that the front shell and the rear shell are fixed with each other.

Abstract: An electrical connector includes a metallic shell structure having a port, an insulation housing disposed in the metallic shell structure, a shielding plate disposed inside the insulation housing, and two rows of conductive terminal sets disposed on the insulation housing with each on two opposing sides of the shielding plate. A conductive contact portion is formed around the port by the metallic shell structure. Therefore, as the electrical connector is assembled with an external device, the conductive contact portion can be in contact with the external device. Hence, a grounding effect is achieved, and an electromagnetic compatibility is improved.

Abstract: An electrical receptacle connector includes a metallic shell, an insulated housing, first receptacle terminals, second receptacle terminals, first glue recess, and a first texture region. The metallic shell circularly encloses the insulated housing. The first and second receptacle terminals are held in the insulated housing. The first texture region is annularly formed on an inner wall of the metallic shell and corresponds to a periphery of the outer wall of the insulated housing. Therefore, the sealing member can attach onto the first texture region efficiently. Therefore, the sealing member does not overflow to the front portion of the receptacle cavity, and the inner gap can be sealed by the sealing member properly. Hence, the first texture region allows the sealing member to attach onto the inner wall of the shell body, and the sealing member can cover the inner gap completely to provide a reliable waterproof performance.

Abstract: An electrical receptacle connector is disclosed. The electrical receptacle connector includes a plurality of upper-row receptacle terminals and lower-row receptacle terminals.
