Abstract: The present invention relates to a video decoding method, according to embodiment of the invention, image decoding method comprises, acquiring a reconstructed luma block of a current block, determining whether a cross-component adaptive loop filter is applied to the current block, acquiring a reconstructed chroma block of the current block, to which an adaptive loop filter is applied, when the cross-component adaptive loop filter is applied to the current block and acquiring a final reconstructed chroma block of the current block, to which the cross-component loop filter is applied, using the reconstructed luma block and the reconstructed chroma block, to which the adaptive loop filter is applied.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is a video decoding method including determining a zero-out width threshold and a zero-out height threshold for distinguishing between a transform coefficient coding region and a zero-out region of a current block according to a size of the current block, determining the transform coefficient coding region and the zero-out region of the current block according to the zero-out width threshold and the zero-out height threshold, acquiring transform coefficient information of the transform coefficient coding region from a bitstream and determining a level of a transform coefficient of the transform coefficient coding region according to the transform coefficient information, determining a level of a transform coefficient of the zero-out region as 0 without acquiring transform coefficient information, and reconstructing the current block by inversely transforming the transform coefficient of the current block.

Abstract: Provided is a method and apparatus for performing intra-prediction using an adaptive filter. The method for performing intra-prediction includes the steps of: determining whether or not to apply a first filter for a reference pixel value on the basis of information of a neighboring block of a current block; applying the first filter for the reference pixel value when it is determined to apply the first filter; performing intra-prediction on the current block on the basis of the reference pixel value; determining whether or not to apply a second filter for a prediction value according to each prediction mode of the current block, which is predicted by the intra-prediction performance on the basis of the information of the neighboring block; and applying the second filter for the prediction value according to each prediction mode of the current block when it is determined to apply the second filter.
