摘要: A method of filling a printing fluid container including providing a printing-fluid container that includes a leading surface having an outer-perimeter with a top edge and a bottom edge, wherein the printing-fluid container includes a printing-fluid interface positioned on the leading surface proximate the bottom edge and an air-interface positioned on the leading surface proximate the top edge in generally vertical alignment with the printing-fluid interface. The method further includes passing printing fluid through the printing-fluid interface into the printing-fluid container, and permitting air to pass through the air-interface out of the printing-fluid container.

摘要: In one embodiment, a method for introducing ink into an ink cartridge includes introducing ink into an ink holding chamber through ink ejection nozzles and, simultaneously with introducing ink into the ink holding chamber through the ink ejection nozzles, introducing ink into the ink holding chamber through an opening other than the ink ejection nozzles or applying a negative pressure at a first opening to the ink holding chamber and applying a positive pressure at a second opening to the ink holding chamber. In another embodiment, a method includes performing a primary operation on an ink holding chamber by introducing ink into the ink holding chamber through ink ejection nozzles and performing a secondary operation on the ink holding chamber to increase the flow of ink to a distal part of the ink holding chamber relative to the flow of ink to a proximal part of the ink holding chamber.

摘要: Tools for directing a collection of light emitting devices toward pixel locations to make an image are disclosed. A pixel location is a light emitting device target at least twice during a given frame, and each light emitting device in the collection is directed toward at least two different pixel locations during the frame. Adjacent light emitting devices may be directed toward adjacent pixel locations or toward nonadjacent pixel locations.

摘要: A color image is produced from image data. Color image bit-planes are generated from the image data. Each color image bit-plane represents a time increment for displaying one color of a plurality of colors for each pixel of the color image. For each of the colors, color patterns are displayed in a plurality of image sub-frame locations. The color patterns represent the color image bit-planes. At least the least significant color image bit-planes are displayed in less than all of the image sub-frame locations.
