Abstract: Example implementations relate to antenna polarization patterns. In some examples, a network device may comprise a processing resource and a memory resource storing machine-readable instructions to group antenna polarization patterns into polarization groups (PG)s, determine a respective packet error rate (PER) of a representative antenna polarization patter of each PG of the PGs, select a PG of the PGs with the representative antenna polarization pattern having the lowest determined PER of the PGs, and associate with a client device an antenna polarization pattern having the lowest determined PER of the selected PG.

Abstract: Examples provided herein describe a method for managing power consumption of a network. For example, a network device may monitor a set of network area zones of a network coverage area, where each network area zone is associated with a set of edge devices. A first occupancy state may be determined for a first network area zone of the set of network area zones based on usage of a first set of edge devices of the first network area zone. Based on the determined first occupancy state, a first power consumption policy for the first network area zone may be determined. Responsive to determining the first power consumption policy, the determined first power consumption policy may be applied to the first set of edge devices in the first network area zone at least edge changing a power consumption mode of a first edge device in the first set of edge devices.

Abstract: Various aspects of the subject technology relate to methods, systems, and machine-readable media for classifying interfering devices. The method includes collecting data samples from a set of known interfering devices, the data samples having characteristics of the set of known interfering devices. The method also includes compiling known feature vectors corresponding to the characteristics of the set of known interfering devices. The method also includes executing the known feature vectors on machine learning algorithms to train the machine learning algorithms to classify the set of known interfering devices. The method also includes generating a machine learning model based on performances of the machine learning algorithms, the machine learning model including at least one of the machine learning algorithms. The method also includes executing future feature vectors corresponding to a set of future interfering devices on the machine learning model to classify the set of future interfering devices.

Abstract: Example implementations relate to multicast multi-user grouping. For example, an apparatus may comprise a processing resource that may rank a plurality of stations associated with the apparatus based on a characteristic associated with a first multicast group containing a first set of stations among the plurality of stations, and a characteristic associated with a second multicast group containing a second set of stations among the plurality of stations. The processing resource may assign a first group of stations from the first multicast group and the second multicast group to a first multi-user group and assign a second group of stations from the first multicast group and the second multicast group to a second multi-user group. The processing resource may convert a multicast frame associated with a station from the first multi-user group to a unicast frame, and transmit the unicast frame to each station in the first multi-user group.

Abstract: A method of adjusting a link in a wireless communication system is described. The method includes monitoring a communication channel by a network device in a wireless local area network. The method also includes detecting a signal identified as being transmitted by an unmanned aerial vehicle on the communication channel. The method further includes transmitting a signal with a duty cycle having a predetermined value in the communication channel and monitoring a received signal strength indicator of the signal identified from the unmanned aerial vehicle. In some embodiments, the transmitted signal includes one or more of an interference signal, a de-authentication frame, and a disassociation frame.

Abstract: An example method of controlling a wireless access point may include causing the wireless access point to identify any groupings of contiguous non-protocol FFT bins of a wireless channel in which all of the non-protocol FFT bins in the grouping have respective signal strength values exceeding a first threshold, and a bandwidth of the grouping does not exceed a second threshold. The method may also include causing the wireless access point to identify any resource units of the wireless channel that overlap with any of the identified groupings. The method may also include causing the wireless access point to, in allocating the resource units to client devices for an OFDMA communication, skip the identified resource units.
