摘要: An imaging unit images a predetermined range including at least a range where an image is displayed out of a field-of-view range of a user. An image forming unit forms a background canceling image which cancels a background image which is visually recognized by a user via an external light based on an imaged image imaged by the imaging unit. The image forming unit combines the background canceling image with the original image corresponding to original image information by aligning them in terms of display position and size. An image formed by combining the background canceling image with the original image is displayed on the display unit by a display control unit.

摘要: In a SAW device, a first area placed at a surface of a measurement subject directly under a propagation portion is fixed to the measurement subject, and a second area placed at the surface of the measurement subject directly under both a drive electrode and a reflector is not fixed to the measurement subject. When a strain is generated in the measurement subject, a strain is generated only in the propagation portion, and a phase change is generated in a surface acoustic wave reflected by the reflector. Because the phase change is hardly affected by a temperature change, the strain of the measurement subject can be measured based on the phase change. Because a resonant frequency of the SAW device is changed by the temperature change, but is not affected by the strain of the measurement subject, a temperature can be measured based on a resonant frequency change.

摘要: A turbo decoding device includes a memory unit that stores data in an interleaving process performed in a process of decoding a coded signal encoded with a turbo code and an access unit that accesses the memory unit to read and write the data. The memory unit includes memory circuits and is formed as one memory space by coupling the memory circuits. Furthermore, the memory circuit functions as a first bank configuration by which a first capacity is assigned to each bank or a second bank configuration by which a second capacity is assigned to each bank in accordance with a combination of the memory circuits. Moreover, the access unit selects by which of the first bank configuration and the second bank configuration the memory unit functions in accordance with a communication method of a coded signal and accesses the memory unit in accordance with the selected bank configuration.

摘要: The present invention discloses a method for producing a mosaic diamond comprising implanting ions in the vicinity of the surfaces of a plurality of single-crystal diamond substrates arranged in the form of a mosaic, or in the vicinity of the surfaces of mosaic single-crystal diamond substrates whose back surfaces are bonded by a single-crystal diamond layer, so as to form non-diamond layers; growing a single-crystal diamond layer by a vapor-phase synthesis method; and separating the single-crystal diamond layer above the non-diamond layers by etching the non-diamond layers. The method of the present invention prevents the destruction of single-crystal diamond substrates by using a process that is simpler than conventional methods, thus allowing a large quantity of mosaic diamond to be produced in a stable and efficient manner.

摘要: A sensor chip has a substrate and a comb-teeth electrode arranged on the substrate. The sensor chip is fixed to a diaphragm structure to be distorted by receiving pressure, and is fixed to the diaphragm structure only through a predetermined fix area so as to detect the pressure. The fix area is defined on only a part of the sensor chip opposing to the diaphragm structure. The sensor chip is restrained by the diaphragm structure in a direction of transmitting surface acoustic wave. Flexibility of the sensor chip in a perpendicular direction approximately perpendicular to the wave transmitting direction is larger than that in the transmitting direction.

摘要: A fixing apparatus that enables the calorific value of a heat-producing rotating element to be stabilized and the heat production efficiency of that heat-producing rotating element to be improved. A fixing apparatus (200) is equipped with a heat-producing sleeve (210), an induction heating apparatus (230), a magnetic field absorption member (233) that absorbs a magnetic field generated by the induction heating apparatus (230), and a fixing roller (240) and pressure roller (250) that grip and rotate the heat-producing sleeve (210). The magnetic field absorption member (233) is located in an area opposite an exciting coil (231) with the heat-producing sleeve (210) between, and absorbs a magnetic field generated by the induction heating apparatus (230). The heat-producing sleeve (210) is composed of a nonmagnetic metallic material of thickness in the range from 10 μm to 500 μm and specific resistance of 80×10−6 Ωcm or less.

摘要: By using a data combining portion, the predetermined data is combined with the original image data on a pixel position with an upper limit gray scale value in a direction of increase of the gray scale value and a combined image data is generated. Since the predetermined data is combined outside an extent of the gray scale of the original image data, there is no deterioration of the quality of the original data and a user never perceives the predetermined data combined outside the extent of the gray scale of the original image data. In addition, since the predetermined data is embedded in combined image data in itself encoded by an encoding portion, the predetermined data cannot be separated from the original image data before the encoded combined image data is decoded.
