    摘要: A tandem master cylinder has a primary and secondary pistons disposed within cylinder bore formed in a cylinder housing, in tandem relationship. The secondary cylinder is formed with a longitudinally extending bore in which is disposed a pressure regulating valve. The pressure regulating valve has a variable set pressure which defines a split point with respect to the pressure applied to the front and rear wheel cylinders. The pressure regulating valve includes a member for varying the set pressure in response to damage to the hydraulic circuit of the front wheel cylinders for setting the split point higher than in the normal state.

    摘要: In an anti-skid braking system, a first proportioning valve has a plunger which is axially movable in a direction against a spring in response to the application of hydraulic pressure to a first fluid inlet port to control the magnitude of hydraulic pressure at a first fluid outlet port. A second proportioning valve functions to open and close a passage between a second fluid inlet port and a second fluid outlet port. A free-piston is axially movably disposed between the first and second proportioning valves to provide these valves with synchronous opening and closing operations, thereby allowing the second proportioning valve to control the magnitude of a hydraulic pressure at the second outlet port in response to the application of a hydraulic pressure to the second fluid inlet port.

    摘要: A reservoir for use with a tandem master cylinder consisting of an elongated housing generally extending along the longitudinal axis of the master cylinder and including top and bottom walls and side walls, a partitioning wall provided between the top and bottom walls and extending laterally from either of the side walls toward the other side wall thereby partitioning the interior of the housing into two chambers. The partitioning wall further extends longitudinally along the other side wall and is spaced therefrom to define therebetween a corridor-like passage communicating the two chambers. The corridor-like passage has an opening which is spaced from the bottom wall by a predetermined height. A liquid level warning device receiving chamber is formed in one of the two chambers and is defined by the laterally and longitudinally extending portions of the partitioning wall and by an additional wall having a slit which extends between the top and side walls.

The assemblies have respective plungers which are movable against a common spring to slacken the rise of the hydraulic pressure issued from the assemblies with respect to that of the hydraulic pressure fed in the same.     摘要: An armature operation-release testing apparatus for an electromagnetic relay of the type in which an armature is adapted to move toward and away from a core in a direction different from the direction of movement of a movable contact. The test for the operating characteristic of the electromagnetic relay is carried out by supplying an operating current to the electromagnetic coil of the relay to attract the armature to the core, positioning an externally controlled sensor to a test position slightly displaced toward the armature beyond the armature attracting surface of the core, and detecting electrical engagement between the sensor and the armature. The test for the releasing characteristic of the relay is then carried out by supplying a releasing current to the coil in lieu of the operating current, positioning the sensor at the test position again, and detecting electrical engagement between the sensor and the armature.

A drawing apparatus, which draws a sheet feeding cassette as a unit to a predetermined position of the apparatus body to position it, includes : a leaf spring that is an elastic member to jump-buckle; an engaging unit disposed in the leaf spring; and an engaged unit engaged with the engaging unit. When the unit is loaded on the apparatus body, the engaging unit engages the engaged unit, the elastic member jump-buckles, and accordingly the unit is drawn to the predetermined position of the apparatus body.
