Abstract:
A turbo decoding device includes a memory unit that stores data in an interleaving process performed in a process of decoding a coded signal encoded with a turbo code and an access unit that accesses the memory unit to read and write the data. The memory unit includes memory circuits and is formed as one memory space by coupling the memory circuits. Furthermore, the memory circuit functions as a first bank configuration by which a first capacity is assigned to each bank or a second bank configuration by which a second capacity is assigned to each bank in accordance with a combination of the memory circuits. Moreover, the access unit selects by which of the first bank configuration and the second bank configuration the memory unit functions in accordance with a communication method of a coded signal and accesses the memory unit in accordance with the selected bank configuration.
Abstract:
A method for transmitting a control channel information to perform an adaptive coding and modulation comprising performing error correction coding at a predetermined coding rate for the control channel information; modulating according to a predetermined modulation scheme and transmitting the error correction coded control channel information; and further, prior to the modulation, performing code decimation or code repetition of the error correction coded signal, according to whether or not Multi Input Multi Output is applied.

The base station includes a first scheduler to perform scheduling of initial transmission of the data transmitted/received between the base station and the mobile station via the relay station, and a first manager to manage predetermined wireless resources which are periodically used, as wireless resources used for the initial transmission of the data. The relay station includes a second scheduler configured to perform scheduling of transmission of a message for confirming necessity of retransmission of the data and retransmission of the data and a second manager configured to manage wireless resources used for the transmission of the message and the retransmission of the data.
Abstract:
To provide a radio communication apparatus and a radio communication method in which change in the transmission rate is taken into consideration at the time of making transmission reservation. The present invention provides a radio communication apparatus for receiving the transmission reservation request with a radio transmitting/receiving unit and transmitting the reservation acknowledgement from the same radio transmitting/receiving unit. This radio communication apparatus is characterized in comprising a control unit for transmitting, from the radio transmitting/receiving unit, a plurality of reservation acknowledgments in different contents for a transmission reservation request in different timings.
Abstract:
The present invention enables assignment to a terminal a sub-band having satisfactory communication quality. A reference-signal reception unit receives from a terminal a reference signal spreading over sub-bands. A communication-quality measurement unit measures the communication quality of each of the sub-bands on the basis of the reference signal. A sub-band assignment unit assigns one of the sub-bands to the terminal on the basis of the communication quality, for the terminal to perform wireless communication with the communication device. A reference-signal transmission unit transmits to the communication device a reference signal spreading over the sub-bands. A sub-band-assignment-information reception unit receives information on one of the sub-bands which is assigned to the terminal by the communication device on the basis of the reference signal. A data transmission unit transmits data to the communication device through the sub-band assigned to the terminal.
Abstract:
The mobile communication network system having a plurality of mobile communication systems each including a base station performing wireless communications with a mobile station, comprises a storage unit storing location information of the mobile station, an acquisition unit acquiring, when receiving a location registering request from the mobile station, a communication-enabled mobile communication system in the mobile station as a sender of the location registering request, a specifying unit specifying a base station existing within the acquired communication-enabled mobile communication system and existing in the periphery of the base station receiving the location registering request, and a control unit storing the storage unit with information of the base station receiving the location registering request and information of the specified base station as location information about the sender mobile station of the location registering request.
Abstract:
A communication system includes a first communication device that transmits transmission data containing user data and control data, and a second communication device that receives the transmission data from the first communication device. The second communication device includes a temporary storing unit that temporarily stores therein the received transmission data, and a space-insufficient-information transmitting unit that transmits, when an amount of the transmission data stored in the temporary storing unit exceeds a first threshold, space insufficient information indicating that available storage space of the temporary storing unit is insufficient to the first communication device. The first communication device includes a transmission control unit that transmits, when receiving the space insufficient information from the second communication device, transmission data excluding the user data from the transmission data to the second communication device, and that resumes, when receiving space-insufficient dissolution information from the second communication device, transmission of the user data.
Abstract:
A radio environment acquirer acquires a radio environment condition of radio communication with a subordinate mobile station. A transmitter transmits, to the mobile station, information notifying a signal which is selected from among multiple signal groups and which is to be transmitted in a transmission area of a random access signal, and a notification of a period over which transmission of the signal as the random access signal is permitted. The period is variable in accordance with the radio environment condition acquired by the radio environment acquirer.
Abstract:
A wireless base station apparatus includes a reporting unit which reports information on a first transmission area that allows transmission of a random access signal. Accordingly, the first transmission area is wholly reported to mobile station apparatuses within an area of the wireless base station apparatus. That is, both a mobile station apparatus in a non-handover state and a mobile station apparatus in a handover state receive the first transmission area information (report information) and use the first transmission area as a transmission area for transmitting a random access signal to the wireless base station apparatus. The wireless base station apparatus also has a notifying unit which notifies a second transmission area to a mobile station apparatus in a handover state, the second transmission area being different from the first transmission area reported by the reporting unit of the handover-destination wireless base station apparatus.
Abstract:
To provide a method for suitably enabling the resources of a handover-source base station to be released and the post-handover processes of a handover-destination base station to be executed by securely determining a transfer of Last Packet without increasing a packet transmission delay in a handover process in a mobile communication system where a mobile station makes a communication with packets, a base station is provided with a Last Packet determination timer, and the handover source base station or the handover-destination base station activates the timer upon receipt of a handover completion acknowledgment transmitted from an upper node station or according to a resource release instruction after the reception of the handover completion acknowledgment, and determines that Last Packet has been received, upon expiration of the timer.
