摘要: A code reading apparatus of a bar code reader which has detecting means for outputting a reading signal responsive to the code displayed on a medium, edge detecting means for detecting the edge of the reading signal, counting means for starting counting each edge detected by the edge detecting means. Discriminating means outputs a reset signal to decoding means when the counted value started for counting by the counting means is a product or more of the quotient produced by dividing the allowable maximum width of the code by the allowable minimum width and the counted value counted between the edges immediately before by the counting means, when the quotient produced by dividing the counted value started for counting by the counting means by the counted value counted between the edges immediately before is a quotient or more produced by dividing the allowable maximum width of the code by the allowable minimum width. Thus, the apparatus can discriminate the start even if the starting margin before the code of the bar code is short.

摘要: An optical path blockage detecting device includes optical conductive members located between light emitting elements and light receptor elements and extending parallel to optical paths defined between the light emitting and receptor elements. Each optical conductive member is combined with a light absorbing member which absorbs undesired beams of light so as to improve the optical directivity of incident light and improve the signal-to-noise ratio of the device.

摘要: A device for sequentially feeding a plurality of disk-shaped recording media in an apparatus for performing a data recording or reproducing operation on a rotating disk-shaped recording medium. The device includes loading members, each of which holds one disk-shaped recording medium and each of which is rotatable about a common axis. A swinging mechanism swings a selected one of the loading members about the common axis through a predetermined angle to a feeding position. A lifting apparatus lifts the disk-shaped recording medium selected by the selected one of the loading members into a position at which the data recording or reproducing operation can be performed. A microprocessor controls the operation of the swinging mechanism and the lifting apparatus. In this manner, a plurality of disk-shaped recording media can be sequentially subjected to a data recording or reproducing operation without the intervention of an operator. Further, the disk-shaped recording media can be individually selected for the data recording or reproducing operation in any desired order. The device is particularly suitable for use with a compact disk player, for allowing a plurality of compact disks to be sequentially fed for the data reproducing operation in any desired order.

摘要: A touch-panel input device of the photoelectric system where a ray scans above a display face of a display unit. Respective coordinate values directed by bringing a finger tip onto the display face are detected by means of interrupted rays and displayed successively on the display face in the form of an index. The detected coordinate values are input into a processor unit when switching means is pushed by the finger tip.

摘要: According to a preferred embodiment of the present invention, a low-voltage operation constant-voltage circuit includes a band-gap reference voltage circuit including a resistor-diode series circuit as a main component. A resistor and a diode-connected bipolar transistor are connected in series to create a constant current. It also includes an output circuit connected in parallel to the resistor-diode series circuit and formed so that the same constant current as the current flowing through the resistor-diode series circuit flows. The output circuit includes a diode-connected MOS transistor, and is configured to cancel the positive temperature coefficient of the current flowing through the output circuit by the MOS transistor. With this, a stable output low-voltage of, e.g., about 0.6 V, excellent in temperature characteristics can be obtained regardless of the ambient temperature changes.
