摘要: Apparatuses, methods, and systems are disclosed for determining V2X resources based on interest indications for V2X communications on more than one radio access technology. One method includes determining a change in a vehicle-to-everything preference for a vehicle-to-everything application for a remote unit. The method includes transmitting to a network device, a remote unit interest indication in response to determining the change in the vehicle-to-everything preference. The method includes determining vehicle-to-everything resources for the remote unit based on a network vehicle-to-everything support type for the network device selected from a plurality of network vehicle-to-everything support types including at least one network vehicle-to-everything support type that supports simultaneous communications on more than one radio access technology.

The method includes supporting a plurality of vehicle-to-everything applications. Each vehicle-to-everything application of the plurality of vehicle-to-everything applications communicates via a direct vehicle-to-everything communication using a corresponding radio access type of the plurality of radio access types.

The apparatus includes a processor that selecting a NAS protocol from a plurality of NAS protocols supported by the remote unit, wherein the selection is based on the target system and connects to the target RAT and the target system using a procedure of the selected NAS protocol.

One UPF apparatus includes a network interface that receives a request to monitor a QoS parameter for a data connection of a remote unit and a processor that modifies a downlink packet to include an indication for a QoS monitoring report. Via the network interface, the processor receives a QoS monitoring result from the access network node in response to the modified downlink packet and determines a value of the QoS parameter based on delivery information of the downlink packet.

摘要: Apparatuses, methods, and systems are disclosed for selecting a network slice type for media traffic of an IMS session. One apparatus includes a processor and a transceiver that communicates with a mobile communication network (“MCN”) using multiple network connections. The processor receives a first request to establish an IMS session with an IMS network, the first request including multiple media types. Here, the IMS network is reachable via the multiple network connections, each network connection communicating with a different network slice type of the MCN. The processor selects a network connection to be used for communicating media traffic for each media type and transmits a IMS session request to the IMS network using a first network connection. Here, the IMS session request indicates parameters to be used for communicating the media traffic for each media type using the selected network connection.

The method includes determining whether the V2X communication is to be transmitted via a communication with a mobile network or a V2X communication with other remote units. The method includes determining a radio access type of the multiple radio access types for transmitting the V2X communication via V2X communication. The method includes selecting a cell that supports V2X resource management for the V2X communication. The method includes requesting resources via the cell for transmitting the V2X communication.

The processor reserves, for each create security association request, at least one access resource in the access network based on the additional QoS information and sends a create security association response to the gateway function for each create security association request, each create security association response indicating whether the corresponding security association is accepted.
