A method for producing an orchid having a blue flower, which comprises transfecting a white moth orchid with the gene, a gene encoding a dihydroflavonol 4-reductase of Torenia or Gerbera; a gene encoding a flavanone 3-hydroxylase; and a gene encoding an anthocyanidin synthase and expressing the genes.

    摘要: An electric pump uses an inner-rotor type, brushless DC motor. A casing of the electric pump is formed by a pump casing and a main casing. A sensor-stator assembly is disposed in a space between a side wall portion of the main casing and a can and is sealed with resin. A first elastic seal member is disposed, in a fluid-tight manner, between the can and the main casing. A second elastic seal member is disposed, in a fluid-tight manner, between the pump casing and the main casing. In this condition, the pump casing and the main casing are fixed together.

Alternatively, a center of a fuel injecting side end port of the fuel injection valve, which injects fuel into intake air that flows in a branch port branched from the intake port, may be placed on the center axis side of the intake valve in a radial direction of the cylinder. Further alternatively, an upstream side fuel injection valve may inject fuel into intake air that flows in the intake port, and a downstream side fuel injection valve may inject fuel into intake air that flows in the branch port branched from the intake port. Alternatively, an injection quantity of fuel may be controlled for each of fuel injection valves, which injects fuel into intake air that flows in the corresponding branch port branched from the intake port.

Thus, the degree of uniformity of a temperature profile is decreased.

    摘要: The electrical connector has a main housing and a turnable member turnably supported on the main housing. The turnable member is turned to move a second connector toward the main housing from an initial mating state of the main housing with the second connector so as to completely couple the main housing with the second connector. The connector has a resilient engagement arm extended from the turnable member, a stopper projection formed in the resilient engagement arm, a guide portion formed in the main housing, and an engagement recess formed in the main housing. The stopper projection abuts against the guide portion so that the resilient engagement arm is in a yielded condition at a half-way mating state of the main housing with the second connector, while the stopper projection locks with the engagement recess by resiliency of the engagement arm when the main housing has completely coupled with the second connector. The connector has a locking arm formed in the turnable member and having an operating portion. The locking arm has resiliency to be positioned so as to bring the engagement arm in a locked state where the engagement arm is in a released condition, while the locking arm is deflected by the operating portion so as to bring the engagement arm in an unlocked state where the engagement arm can be in the yielded condition.

    摘要: To produce high-pressure hydrogen, water and a hydrogen-generating material (MgH2) which reacts with water to generate hydrogen are weighed so that a target high hydrogen pressure is generated in a high-pressure container. Then, the hydrogen-generating material is introduced into the high-pressure container through its supply port, and water is introduced into the high-pressure container through the supply port. Thereafter, the supply port is closed, thereby causing a reaction between the hydrogen-generating material and the water, so that the hydrogen pressure in the high-pressure container reaches a target high hydrogen pressure.
