An image correction apparatus includes a gradient detection unit, a blur width detection unit, a correction area identification unit, and a correction unit. The gradient detection unit detects a gradient of a pixel value of each of pixels of an input image. The blur width detection unit detects a blur width at a position of each of the pixels of the input image. The correction area identification unit identifies a correction area based on the gradient detected by the gradient detection unit and the blur width detected by the blur width detection unit. The correction unit corrects a pixel value of a pixel in the correction area identified by the correction area identification unit.

An image correction apparatus includes a motion vector calculation unit, a characteristic decision unit and a correction unit. The motion vector calculation unit calculates a motion vector of an image based on a plurality of images sharing a shooting area. The characteristic decision unit decides an edge characteristic for image correction based on the motion vector calculated by the motion vector calculation unit. The correction unit corrects a pixel value of a pixel having the edge characteristic decided by the characteristic decision unit in an input image obtained from the plurality of images.

An image correction apparatus includes a smoothing unit, a blurred area detection unit, a correction amount calculation unit, and a correction unit. The smoothing unit smoothes an input image. The blurred area detection unit detects, for each pixel of a smoothed image obtained by the smoothing unit, whether or not each of the pixels is included in a blurred area. The correction amount calculation unit calculates an amount of a correction for a pixel that belongs to the blurred area based on the smoothed image. The correction unit corrects the input image by using the amount of a correction calculated by the correction amount calculation unit.

An image processing method according to this invention includes: generating a histogram by counting a number of pixels for each predetermined color section in a color system having no singular point, for a specific image; detecting a local peak that is a portion where the counted number of pixels is maximum in the generated histogram, and determining a local peak color value, which is a color value corresponding to said local peak; and identifying a pixel in the specific image based on the determined local peak color value. This enables the determination of an appropriate local peak color value regardless of the achromatic color or chromatic color.

Embodiments of the present invention improve the production efficiency of a perpendicular recording medium while ensuring the scratch resistance thereof. In order to realize high production stability in the high speed production of perpendicular recording media, a target is not provided with a texture of a low melting point or the ratio thereof is decreased. Thus according to one embodiment of the present invention, upon forming a layer having an element of a low melting point in the constituent layers of a perpendicular recording medium, a target can be made using an alloy powder previously formed of an intermetallic compound having a melting point higher than 660° C., thereby preventing thermal deformation.

A shooting device includes a image sensor for capturing an image of a subject, a detection unit detecting stabilization information from the image, a stabilization information recording unit associating a shooting condition during shooting with the detected stabilization information and recording the shooting condition and the stabilization information, and an electronic image stabilization unit. The electronic image stabilization unit extracts the stabilization information corresponding to the shooting condition having a predetermined relationship with the shooting condition by referring to the stabilization information recording unit using the shooting condition, and stabilizes the shooting device shake based on the extracted stabilization information.

An information processing apparatus is constructed to include a color display part for simultaneously displaying a reference color patch and at least one measuring color patch which is to be measured, on a display unit.
摘要:
A method, apparatus and computer-readable medium allows users to measure a lighting condition of an object. In one embodiment, at least one user visually compares colored materials against a displayed color sample. Users may adjust the color of the displayed color sample by changing corresponding attribute values until the displayed color sample appears to substantially match the colored material. Once users indicate that they have established a color match between a displayed color sample and a colored material, the spectral irradiance value of the substantially matched color sample is calculated. The spectral irradiance value represents a measurement of the lighting condition in a particular room.

A color converting apparatus and method which accurately converts a color signal in the vicinity of the boundary of a color range of a color reproducing device. This enables dissimilar devices to exchange color images and accurately reproduce colors from the sending device to the receiving device despite different color capabilities of the two devices. This is accomplished by a first color converted result and a second color converted result are stored in a color conversion table. The first color converted result is obtained by converting an input color signal into a color signal that is color-reproducible. The second color converted result is obtained by converting an input color signal into a color signal that is not color-reproducible. In a region outside of the color reproducible range of a printer, a display, or other similar devices, when the relationship of an input color signal is accurately kept, a color signal is accurately performed.
摘要:
If all colors of a picture obtained by a first color picture device cannot be outputted from a second color picture device, a plurality of color data which are outside the gamut of the second color picture device and are inside the gamut of the first color picture device are converted so as to preserve correspondence regarding both the lightness value and the saturation value. Furthermore, if, since an equi-hue line has distortion, the tone of a color represented by color data is changed by conversion, the hue angle of the color data is rotated and converted. In picture data, color data for the color of paper or the color of a picture digitally generated have extreme values, and errors occur when the data are converted. In this case, data around the color data in a color conversion table are modified to obtain a desirable conversion result.
