    摘要： There is disclosed a local application for a client machine such as a wireless device, and a method of operating the client machine. In an embodiment, the local application is responsive to an external trigger instruction via a web page in a web browser of the client machine, authenticating data access or functions of the local application. The local application may provide data maintained by the local application (e.g. in accordance with a form specified by the external trigger instruction invoking the local application). The external trigger instruction may be an invocation instruction embedded therein such as an extension embedded into the header or content type of the web page. The web page may further include field ID tags mapping specific data fields in the local application's data store to form input fields provided in the web page.

    摘要： Multi-purpose shears adapted to include structure that enables rapid and effective cutting of sheet fabric as well as tough fabric. A U-shaped housing is positioned on a loop grip of the shears, the housing having an insertion slot defining an opening at one end and at least one blade having a cutting edge mounted within the housing. The blades are positioned within the housing so as to present a cutting edge obliquely to the insertion slot, so as to cut or slice material inserted into the insertion slot. The insertion slot is generally configured in a direction that permits ergonomic handling of the shears for both snipping and for slicing. The opening may be oriented in a proximal direction relative to the operator, so that the operator may snip in one direction and slice in the reverse direction.

Line powering, from the primary location to the remote location, is provided by a power supply, which is selectively connected to one or more of the lines via a switching module. A ground fault detector is provided to monitor for excessive ground fault current and selectively disconnect the faulted line. A rapid line voltage discharge module is provided to discharge line voltage to meet specification.

    摘要： The present invention relates to the processing of information in a computer with multiple stages wherein in each stage a particular, stage-specific work is done with or without stage-specific data. The present invention in particular adheres to the tracing of events which happen in each of these stages. In order to provide a method which generates trace information for work items which can be easier evaluated, it is proposed to perform the steps of: generating an entry in a trace pipeline for a work item; selecting a subset of trace information generated during the processing of said work item in a processing stage, adding said subset to said entry, and putting said entry to the next stage of said trace pipeline in every stage of said processing stages.
