摘要： A method for communicating with a network by a terminal in a wireless communication system, wherein the terminal receives, from the network, signaling information representing a transmission period and a time offset for uplink transmission of a feedback information, and determines a time to transmit the feedback information based on the transmission period and the time offset. 摘要： A method for operating a Mobile Station (MS) in a Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO) wireless communication system is provided. The method includes measuring channel quality for a serving Base Station (BS), if the channel quality is less than a threshold, measuring interference power from one or more neighbor BSs, determining a Precoding Matrix Index (PMI) and a priority metric for each neighbor BS, and feeding back at least one of the PMI, a PMI type indicator, the priority metric, and the channel quality to the serving BS.

摘要： A base station PDCCH (Packet Data Control Channel) apparatus for scrambling transmission packet data to prevent other terminals from recognizing the transmission packet data in a base station including a packet data channel device for transmitting packet data to a terminal and a packet data control channel device for transmitting control information needed for demodulation of the packet data to the terminal. In the apparatus, an encoder encodes the control information and generates a coded control information stream comprised of a stream of a plurality of bits. A scrambler generates a scrambling sequence using unique information known to only the terminal and the base station, and scrambles the coded control information stream with the scrambling sequence.

摘要： Disclosed is an apparatus and method for transmitting/receiving a control message in a wireless communication system that is designed to reduce overhead associated with transmission/reception of the control message. To this end, a transmission apparatus generates a control message, generates a compressed control message by compressing the generated control message, based on a control message that has been lastly received by a reception apparatus from among previously transmitted control messages, selects one of the generated control message and the generated compressed control message according to whether or not the control message lastly received by the reception apparatus exists, and transmits the selected one of the generated control message and the generated compressed control message to the reception apparatus. Therefore, it is possible to reduce resources used for control message transmission, and thus increase the use efficiency of the resources.

摘要： Disclosed is an apparatus for performing power control on a reverse channel quality indicator channel (CQICH) received from a mobile station by a base station in a mobile communication system including the base station for transmitting a power control bit for power control on reverse channels and the mobile station for controlling transmission power of the reverse channels according to the power control bit. An erasure detector determines whether to perform an erasure process by measuring reception power of the reverse channel quality indicator channel. An erasure rate calculator accumulates the erasure-determined result for N slots and calculates an erasure rate for the N slots. A control bit generator determines a ratio control bit to be transmitted to the mobile station according to the erasure rate, to issue a command to increase or decrease a CQICH traffic-to-pilot ratio.

The method comprises measuring carrier-to-interference ratio (C/I) values of the subcarriers using a signal received from the base station; determining from the received signal a subcarrier for transmitting feedback information in a given coherence bandwidth; generating feedback information to be transmitted over the determined subcarrier; and transmitting the generated feedback information to the base station as information for estimating a channel condition of the forward link.

摘要： An apparatus and method for efficiently distributing energy to a packet data channel. A turbo encoder generates a sequence of systematic symbols and a sequence of parity symbols by encoding an information bit stream. An interleaver interleaves the systematic symbol sequence and the parity symbol sequence, separately and serially concatenates the interleaved systematic symbol sequence and the interleaved parity symbol sequence. An energy distributor rearranges the concatenated symbols so that the systematic symbols are disposed in a high energy-having portion of a predetermined transmission period when transmission energy varies for the transmission period. A modulator modulates the rearranged symbols.
