Abstract: A method, apparatus and computer program product establish at least two redundant protocol data unit sessions to at least one user equipment. The at least two redundant protocol data unit sessions are established based on dual connectivity in a radio access network. The method, apparatus and computer program product collect network status information related to the at least two redundant protocol data unit sessions. The method, apparatus and computer program product configure a set of protocol data unit session switching patterns for the at least two redundant protocol data unit sessions based on the real-time network status information.

The method may include detecting, by an enforcement point, an initiation of a session of an application; determining, by the enforcement point, whether a new subservice flow needs to be established to enable, for the initiated session, a quality of service differentiation and/or a quality of experience differentiation; sending, by the enforcement point, an indication to a radio to enable the radio to establish a radio buffer to handle the new subservice flow, when the new subservice flow needs to be established; sending, by the enforcement point, parameter information to the radio to enable the radio to configure at least one service parameter of the radio buffer; and forwarding, by the enforcement point, user-plane data associated with the session to the radio including a subservice flow identifier. Abstract: A technique includes receiving, by a user device, a plurality of semi-persistent scheduling (SPS) configurations, each SPS configuration including an SPS identifier and an interval for each of the plurality of SPS configurations; receiving, by the user device, an SPS activation corresponding to each of the plurality of SPS configurations, each SPS activation indicating a set of resources and a modulation and coding scheme (MCS) to be used for transmission of data for the corresponding SPS configuration; determining, by the user device, that a collision will occur for the plurality of SPS configurations during a transmission time interval (TTI); selecting a MCS corresponding to one of the plurality of SPS configurations that have been determined to collide during the TTI; and transmitting, by the user device during the TTI, data using the selected MCS via an aggregated set of SPS resources that includes at least a portion of each of the sets of resources for the plurality of SPS configurations that have been determined to collide during the TTI.

Abstract: Systems, methods, apparatuses, and computer program products for fair resource sharing among user(s) or user groups in broadcast based D2D communications are provided. One method includes monitoring, by a cluster head, at least one user group sharing physical channel resources. The at least one user group may include at least one D2D user equipment. The method may further include calculating a current share of the physical channel resources for the at least one user group based on pre-configured fair sharing rules, determining when a maximum fair share of the physical channel resources are allocated to one of the at least one user group, determining whether remaining physical resources are sufficient. When the remaining physical resources are sufficient, the method may include issuing an indication to the one of the at least one user group. When the remaining physical resources are not sufficient, the method may include issuing a warning to the one of the at least one user group.
