    摘要: A tensioner, in which an inner body and an outer body, which can deal with tensioner mounting forms and tension imparting functions required from various engines can be assembled and its efficient production and reliable assembling without wobbling and clattering can be performed. A body 22 of a tensioner 21 is composed of plastic outer and inner bodies 23 and 24 formed by different members respectively. The outer body 23 is provided with a tensioner mounting means and an inner body fitting hole 23a, the inner body is provided with a plunger accommodating hole 24a, a plunger 26 biased by a compression spring 27 is slidably fitted into the plunger accommodating hole 24a, a bottom portion of the plunger accommodating hole 24a is provided with a check valve 31, and at least the inner body 24, the check valve 31, the compression spring 27 and the plunger 26 form an inner body side unit 33, which imparts proper tension. Further, the inner body 24, which forms the inner body side unit 33 is adapted to be fixed into the inner body fitting hole 23a of the outer body 23 by heat welding.

    摘要: In a hydraulic tensioner a cylindrical plunger slidably protrudes from a plunger-accommodating hole in a tensioner housing. A check valve unit allows oil to flow under pressure into a high pressure chamber formed by the plunger and the housing, but blocks reverse flow. The plunger is biased in the protruding direction by a spring located in the high pressure chamber. The plunger has an annular groove in its outer circumferential surface, and a C-shaped ring disposed in the groove is resiliently biased radially outwardly against the inner circumferential wall of the plunger-accommodating hole. A radial clearances is provided between the ring and the bottom of the groove, and the ring also fits into the groove with an axial clearance.

    摘要: A check valve unit in a hydraulic tensioner comprises a check ball which controls the flow of the oil to and from a high pressure oil chamber formed by a plunger and the plunger-receiving hole of the tensioner housing, a ball guide in which the check ball moves, a retainer which seals the check ball in the ball guide, and a ball seat which blocks reverse flow of oil by seating the check ball. Grooves, which ventilate air from the high pressure oil chamber to an oil supply passage, are formed on an outer circumferential surface of the ball guide and a bottom surface of the ball seat.

An offset value determining means determines whether an offset value when the data is read has exceeded a predetermined value when the data is read. An offset control means controls the head, on the basis of the determination result of the offset value determining means, to conduct the offset operation on the opposite side of the track when the data is read the first time, and a selecting means selects the new data recorded in the sector by comparing the results obtained for both sets of data.

    摘要: In a hydraulic tensioner, a check valve assembly comprises a synthetic resin ball guide with a check ball movable therein. Oil grooves are provided in the wall of the ball guide, and minimum clearance is allowed between the ball and the wall of the ball guide. The ball is biased toward a metal ball seat formed as a separate element from the ball guide and attached to the ball guide by crimping portions of the synthetic resin of the ball guide over a flange of the seat, using heat fusion. A metal retainer disc, also a separate element, is similarly attached to the ball guide by crimping using heat fusion. A resilient annular lip is formed on the synthetic resin ball guide, and the assembly is press-fit into a plunger-receiving hole in a tensioner housing with the lip in engagement with the wall of the hole.

    摘要: A plastic hydraulic tensioner comprises a metal liner insert-molded in a hole in a synthetic resin tensioner body. A protruding plunger, slidable in the liner of the tensioner body is urged in the protruding direction by a compression spring, and the plunger, the liner and the bottom of the lined hole form a high pressure oil chamber. A flat or concave groove is formed on or in the outer peripheral surface of the liner, and the liner is formed with a protrusion extending outward from the flat or groove to engage a part of the synthetic resin of the tensioner body so that the liner is prevented from being pushed out of the tensioner body by oil pressure in the high pressure oil chamber.
