摘要: A method of manufacturing a joint flange using a thickness-increased, machined pipe is provided. The method includes a pipe cutting operation in which a pipe is cut to a predetermined length, a flange forming operation in which a flange having a mounting hole for installing the pipe is formed by die casting, a bump-forming operation in which a thickness-increased part, which is formed by increasing a thickness of one end of the pipe, is bumped to form a first bead locked to the flange, a machining operation in which a circumference of the thickness-increased part is machined to form a sealing groove having an O-ring installed, and a fixing operation in which the pipe is inserted in the mounting hole of the flange and the other end of the pipe is pressed to form a second bead so that the pipe is pressed to a lower end of the flange.

摘要: A smart trim die assembly for providing multiple internal operations during a stroke. The smart trim die assembly (10) comprises a first die (12), a second die (14), and a cavity (20) formed between the first die and second die. A plurality of sensors (22) are located between the first die and the second die for measuring the distance therebetween during a stroke. A series of tools are integrated into one of the first die or second die and each perform one of trimming, piercing, dimpling, and tapping operations. The smart trim die assembly further includes a processor (210) and a memory device (214) for receiving readings from the sensors. The memory device further contains instructions that, when executed by the processor, cause the processor to, in response to the sensor reading a predetermined distance, instruct the series of tools to perform one or more of the operations.

摘要: This zinc-nickel composite plating bath contains a zinc source, a nickel source, silicon dioxide particles and an ammonium-based dispersant in such ranges that enable the achievement of a zinc-nickel composite plating film wherein the codeposition amount of nickel is 10-16 wt % and the codeposition amount of the silicon dioxide particles is 7 vol % or more. Meanwhile, the pH of this zinc-nickel composite plating bath is 5.6 to 6.8.

摘要: A casting die device and a casting method. The casting die device has a core pin for forming an inner hole in a casted article. The core pin is a hollow body, and a pressurizing pin is inserted into a hollow inner part of the core pin. Vibrations from a vibrator of a micro vibration machine are imparted to the pressurizing pin via a vibration transmission member. The vibrations further propagate to the core pin from the pressurizing pin, and then propagate to the area surrounding the core pin in a molten metal that has been poured into a cavity.

摘要: A low pressure aluminum casting apparatus includes a pair of steel dies each presenting a molding surface and a heat transfer surface. Copper heat sink blocks are disposed on the heat transfer surfaces to remove heat from the steel dies. Steel contact plates and steel spacer plates can be disposed between the heat sink blocks and the steel dies to optimize cooling. In addition, a portion of each contact plate can be spaced from the steel die to reduce cooling. The steel dies include conventional cooling passages for conveying cooling fluid, and the heat sink blocks, contact plates, and spacer plates also include cooling channels for conveying cooling fluid.

摘要: Disclosed are systems and methods for mechanically reducing an amount of the skull material in a finished, molded part formed from amorphous alloy using an injection molding system. Skull material of molten amorphous alloy can be captured in a trap before molding such material. A cavity can be provided in the injection molding system to trap the skull material. For example, the cavity can be provided in the mold, the tip of the plunger rod, or in the transfer sleeve. Alternatively, mixing of molten amorphous alloy can be induced so that skull material is reduced before molding. A plunger and/or its tip can be used to induce mixing (e.g., systematic movement of plunger rod, or a shape of its tip). By minimizing the amount of skull material in the finished, molded part, the quality of the part is increased.

The guide member 17 is provided with a locking part 17a which locks with a lateral edge part of the lower mold body 10 when the lower mold body 10 is separated upward from the lower mold stage 11, so that the lower mold body 10 and the guide member 17 separate upward together.

摘要: In a trial peening step, a shot peening process is applied to a back face 40B of a mold 40 in which an opening of a closed-end water cooling hole 42 is formed. Next, in an evaluation step, compressive residual stress and surface roughness of a region shot-peened in the trial peening step are measured and an extent of shot peening treatment in the trial peening step is evaluated based on measurement results. Next, in a peening step, a surface of the water cooling hole 42 in the mold 40 is shot-peened under peening conditions set based on peening conditions for the trial peening step and on evaluation results produced in the evaluation step.
