Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods, and devices for wireless communication that support enhanced sidelink carrier aggregation feedback operations. In a first aspect, a method of wireless communication includes receiving, by a wireless communication device, a sidelink shared channel transmission via a first component carrier. The method also includes obtaining, by the wireless communication device, a feedback resource indication. The method further includes transmitting, by the wireless communication device, a sidelink channel feedback transmission in a sidelink channel feedback transmission resource via a second component carrier different from the first component carrier. The sidelink channel feedback transmission resource is determined based on the feedback resource indication, and the sidelink channel feedback transmission indicates feedback data for the sidelink shared channel transmission. Other aspects and features are also claimed and described.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. The method, system, or devices for wireless communications may implement receiving a grant for a first transmission scheduled for a first set of resources, the first transmission associated with a first transmission parameter; receiving an indication to cancel the first transmission; dropping the first transmission based on receiving the indication; determining a second transmission parameter for a second transmission based on the first transmission parameter and irrespective of dropping the first transmission; and performing or receiving the second transmission according to the second transmission parameter. Alternatively, a device may receive an indication to cancel the second transmission; drop the second transmission based on receiving the indication; and refraining from rescheduling the first transmission on the first set of resources based on receiving the indication and irrespective of dropping the second transmission.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. A device may receive a grant that schedules a set of sidelink occasions associated with sidelink communication from the device, and that indicates a set of uplink occasions for indicating feedback associated with the sidelink communication. The device may transmit a sidelink message during a sidelink occasion of the set of sidelink occasions, and generate feedback information based on the transmitted sidelink message. The feedback information may include an acknowledgement (ACK) or a negative acknowledgment (NACK) associated with the sidelink message. The device may transmit an uplink feedback message including the feedback information during an uplink occasion of the set of uplink occasions. The feedback information may include an indication of the ACK or the NACK.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may map hybrid automatic repeat request acknowledgement (HARQ-ACK) feedback that includes a first HARQ-ACK bit associated with a high priority and a second HARQ-ACK bit associated with a low priority to a sequence cyclic shift value that provides an unequal reliability between the first HARQ-ACK bit and the second HARQ-ACK bit. The UE may transmit, to a base station, the HARQ-ACK feedback via a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) format 0. Numerous other aspects are provided.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. The described techniques provide for a user equipment (UE) to adjust a random access message that is transmitted to a base station in an asynchronous uplink transmission. The UE may use a constrained mapping of time and frequency resources for the random access message or transmit all portions of the message in a continuous transmission. The UE may also adjust the timing of the portions of the message. The base station may use a portion of the message, such as a preamble, to perform channel estimation for another portion of the message, such as a payload, to improve decoding of the transmitted message. Additionally, the UE may configure a waveform of the message to improve the continuous transmission of the message, for example by reducing interference between portions of the message.

Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods, and devices for wireless communication that provide a mechanism for managing a sequential order for performing a deferral procedure and at least one other slot index-dependent procedure in a wireless communication system. In particular aspects, a user equipment, UE, may be configured to perform a first slot index-dependent procedure and a deferral procedure of uplink repetitions. The UE may determine a sequential order for performing the deferral procedure and the first slot index-dependent procedure, and may then perform the deferral procedure and the first slot index-dependent procedure in the sequential order. The sequential order may include performing the deferral procedure before the first slot index-dependent procedure, performing the deferral procedure after the first slot index-dependent procedure, or a sequential order that is based on a type of procedure of the first slot index-dependent procedure.

Abstract: Techniques for peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR) reduction are described. Wireless devices may use one or more PAPR shaping resources, such as expanded bandwidth and/or pulse-shaping filtering, for shaping a signal to reduce PAPR. For example, expanded bandwidth may be utilized for adding a cyclic affix (CA), such as may comprise a cyclic prefix (CP), cyclic suffix (CS), etc., and combinations thereof, to a frequency domain data signal to provide a CP augmented frequency domain data signal used to generate a reduced PAPR time domain data signal. Additionally or alternatively, pulse-shaping filtering may be applied to a frequency domain signal to provide a pulse-shaped frequency domain data signal used to generate a reduced PAPR time domain data signal. Other aspects and features are also claimed and described.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Techniques are described herein for managing timers for hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) processes associated with multiple configured grants that are active at the same time. Techniques are also described herein for allocating HARQ identifiers (IDs) to HARQ processes associated with multiple configured grants that are active at the same time. A user equipment (UE) may configure timers to be associated with a HARQ ID and a configured grant. A base station or UE may include indicators of the configured grants associated with a HARQ process when exchanging signaling about the HARQ process. A UE may allocate HARQ IDs to multiple configured grants to reduce a likelihood that HARQ processes collide.
