At the time of deleting an arbitrary navigation unit from a data stream partitioned by the navigation units and recorded in a recording medium, information is recorded in the recording medium, which, in a recording block including both remaining data belonging to the deleted navigation unit and valid data belonging to the navigation unit right before the deleted navigation unit, the information is used for distinguishing the valid data from the remaining data. By referring to the information afterwards, the remaining data can be prevented from being decoded.

The present invention relates to a method and apparatus of determining arrival time of data packet when a digital broadcast data stream is recorded. According to the present invention, two program clock reference values are extracted from a transport packet sequence, an average packet interval time is obtained based on both the difference between the two program clock reference values and the number of packets between two packets from which the two program clock reference values are extracted, and an arrival time of each packet between the two packets is determined by t(0)+I*t_av, where t_av is the average packet interval time, t(0) is the program clock reference value of the preceding one among the both packets, and I is an index indicative of the order of packet between the both packets.

An organic light emitting display includes a pixel circuit having first, second, and third organic light emitting diodes (OLEDs), for emitting red, green, and blue light, respectively, a driving circuit commonly connected to the OLEDs, and a switching circuits connected to the OLED and the driving circuit to sequentially control the driving thereof. By controlling a plurality of OLEDs, the number of pixel circuits in an organic light emitting display is reduced, thereby reducing the number of scan lines, data lines, and emission control lines, which in turn improves the aperture ratio of the light emitting display. Further, the emission order of the OLEDs is controlled so that it is possible to prevent the generation of color breakup.

The pixel has a driving circuit for receiving the first and second scan signals, the data signal, the first and second emission control signals, and a first power of a first power source to drive a current, a switching circuit connected with the driving circuit to receive the current, the switching circuit for selectively applying the current in accordance with the first and second emission control signals, and first and second organic light emitting diodes (OLEDs) positioned on two different rows of the image display unit and connected with the switching circuit to receive the current in accordance with an operation of the switching circuit and to emit light. Therefore, a plurality of OLEDs emit light through one pixel circuit so the number of data lines and the number of pixel power sources can be reduced. Also, since the number of data lines is reduced, it is possible to reduce the size of a data driver and to reduce a manufacturing cost of the light emitting display.

In one embodiment, the organic light emitting display comprises: a plurality of scan lines and a plurality of emission control lines, which are arranged in a horizontal direction; a plurality of data lines arranged in a vertical direction; and a pixel portion comprising a plurality of pixel circuits electrically connected to the scan line, the emission control line and the data line, wherein each pixel circuit is connected to two organic light emitting diodes placed on different two horizontal lines, and two emission control lines are connected to the organic light emitting diodes placed on two horizontal lines in a zigzag pattern. With this configuration, the present invention provides an organic light emitting display and a driving method thereof, in which organic light emitting diodes placed on two horizontal lines are controlled by one scan line, so that the number of scan lines can be decreased, thereby reducing manufacturing costs and enhancing the aperture ratio. Further, the organic light emitting diodes placed on two horizontal line are sequentially driven by one control circuit for one frame period, to further improve the aperture ratio.
