摘要: A method for producing a phosphor comprises a burning step to burn a phosphor material containing elements constituting a host material of the phosphor and an activator or compounds containing the elements by heating. In the burning step, the phosphor material is continuously passed through a rotating tubular heating furnace disposed in a tilting manner with respect to a horizon to be heated and burned in the heating furnace, and the burned material continuously discharged from the heating furnace is cooled down rapidly. Spherical phosphor particles which are uniform in a particle diameter and shape thereof and exhibit high dispersibility can be produced at low cost and in good yield.

摘要: A method for forming a phosphor screen comprising the step of forming a phosphor layer containing a thermoplastic resin on the inner surface of a face plate, the step of pressurizing the phosphor layer being heated to plasticate the thermoplastic resin and smooth the surface of the phosphor layer, and the step of forming a metal film on the surface-smoothed phosphor layer and heating the face plate. Thermoplastic resin having a softening temperature of 50–350° C. can be used in the phosphor layer, and 0.05–50 wt % of such a thermoplastic resin in solid content ratio is contained in the layer. Heating/pressurizing conditions preferably involve temperatures of 50–350° C. and pressures of 10–10000 N/cm2. This method enhances the film forming property of a metal back layer and prevents cracks and pinholes in the metal back layer.

摘要: A print image of a character string to be printed on a print tape, rotated counterclockwise from the lengthwise direction of the print tape by 90 degrees to be arranged in the width direction of the print tape, is generated (S450). The print image is repetitively arranged sequentially in the lengthwise direction of the print tape (S470) and thereby label printing is executed (S480). Subsequently (S500), a normal print image of the character string arranged in the lengthwise direction of the print tape is generated (S430) and label printing of the normal print image is executed (S480).

摘要: This dispersion liquid composition for black matrix comprises; manganese oxide having an average particle diameter in the range of 50 to 2000 nm, or solid solution of manganese oxide and ferric oxide having an average particle diameter in the range of 50 to 2000 nm and a manganese content in the range of 15 to 70% by weight; at least one kind of dispersing agent selected from a group of water-soluble acrylic resin, sodium salt, ammonium salt or potassium salt of water-soluble acrylic resin, and sodium salt, ammonium salt or potassium salt of polycarboxylic acid or ligninsulfonic acid or bisphenolsulfonic acid; and water, or a solvent mixture of water and an organic solvent compatible with water. By employing such a dispersion liquid composition for black matrix, light reflectivity of a light absorption layer of an interface with a panel is remarkably reduced. Accordingly, in a display device such as a color cathode ray tube, a display surface in which superposition of ambient light is difficult to occur is realized.

摘要: A coating die is disclosed, in which a slit-like spacing 29 is formed between a pair of die elements 25, 27 arranged in opposed relation to each other. A band-shaped electrode sheet 23 is movable along the length of the spacing 29. The sides of the slit-like spacing along the width of the electrode sheet 23 are enclosed. An electrode piling agent is supplied from an external source into the die element pair 25, 27 through supply flow paths 47, 49. Discharge ports 47a, 49a of the supply flow paths 47, 49 are open to the slit-like spacing 29. The portion of the spacing 29 downstream of the discharge ports 47a, 49a in the direction of movement of the electrode sheet 23 has a thickness equivalent to the thickness of the electrode sheet 23 plus the thickness of the electrode piling agent coated on the two sides of the electrode sheet 23. The portion of the spacing 29 upstream of the discharge ports 47a, 49a has a thickness substantially equal to the thickness of the electrode sheet 23. The job of coating the electrode piling agent on the two sides of the electrode sheet can thus be performed with high accuracy.

摘要: A ribbon driving mechanism for a typewriter, having a cam member provided on one side thereof with a first cam section for effecting control of a printing ribbon, and a second cam section extending continuously from the first cam section for effecting control of a correction tape, and a stopping member for controlling the movement of a cam follower along the cam sections. Either the printing ribbon or the correction tape is moved selectively to the printing position and only the rotation of a motor for driving the cam member in one particular direction, is transmitted to a printing ribbon winding mechanism, to wind the printing ribbon.
