摘要: A method and system for allocating shareable wireless transmission resources. A resource pool is established. The resource pool is divided into a plurality of physical layer allocation units usable for wirelessly transmitting control information and traffic data. The allocation units are assigned at the media access control layer for the wireless transmission of the control information and traffic data. The system and method of the present invention also allows mobile stations to be dynamically grouped into multicast groupings to reduce system overhead resource requirements.

摘要: Aspects of the present disclosure provide a manner of avoiding excessive latency and resource consumption due to exhaustive beam searching and pairing for finding an appropriate bi-directional beam pair combination with manageable mutual interference to enable point-to-point FD transmission. Aspects of the present disclosure also provide a solution for enabling multi-user transmission where one or all UEs are with FD capability and the cross-UE interference raised from FD transmission are measured and taken into account during multi-user pairing.

摘要: Some aspects of the present disclosure enable a network to account for impacts of digital transmit and receive precoding at the user equipment (UE) side in the presence of UE self-interference that may occur during full duplex (FD) operation. Some aspects of the present disclosure include joint downlink (DL) node selection or beam selection, or both, and UE self-interference emulation, so that the UE is enabled with FD operation that includes receiving from one node, but transmitting towards another node. When compared with the case where the UE receives from, and transmits, to a same node, because when two separate nodes are involved and the two nodes are more physically separated, the chance of achieving higher cross-link isolation, and hence FD transmission, is higher.

摘要: Sparse reference signal-related signaling, for a wireless channel that is associated with multiple antenna ports, is communicated with a User Equipment (UE). The sparse reference signal-related signaling is consistent with a sparse signaling pattern. In an embodiment, the sparse signaling pattern includes reference signal-related signaling associated with each of the antenna ports, and has been determined based on previous reference signal-related signaling previously communicated with the UE or another UE. In another embodiment, the sparse reference signal-related signaling is consistent with a varying sparse signaling pattern that is based on previous reference signal-related signaling previously communicated with the UE or another UE.

摘要: Current radio frame structures in Long-Term Evolution (LTE) and New Radio (NR) have some restrictions. A frame structure is disclosed herein that aims to provide more flexibility. Embodiments of the flexible frame structure include different parameters that are flexible, i.e. that are configurable. A non-exhaustive list of parameters that may be configurable include: length of the frame; length of a subframe (if a subframe is even defined); length of a slot and/or number of symbol blocks in a slot (if a slot is even defined); length of the CP and/or data portion in a symbol block, or ratio of CP to data portion, which may vary between symbol blocks; downlink/uplink switching gap length, etc.

摘要: Aspects of the present application provide methods and device for use in User Equipment (UE) cooperation. UE cooperation may include the cooperating UEs (CUEs) forwarding traffic to or from one or more target UEs (TUEs) with redundant signal transmissions or receptions. Methods involve a base station transmitting configuration information to at least one cooperative user equipment (CUE) and to a target user equipment (TUE). The configuration information includes an indication of resources for a sidelink (SL) transmission and a redundancy parameter for the SL transmission. The SL transmission is a transmission for the at least one CUE to forward a packet intended for the TUE. The base station also transmits the packet intended for the TUE, to a plurality of UEs comprising the at least one CUE and the TUE.

摘要: A reference signaling scheme is provided that is based on the use of a Zadoff Chu sequence with cyclic repetition, optionally code division multiplexing precoding, together with frequency domain spectral shaping (FDSS). A specific pulse shape design for the FDSS part of the reference signal scheme in some embodiments involves the use of a raised cosine pulse raised to the power of β. The new solution for generating reference signals has a Low peak average power ratio that matches the PAPR of SC-OQAM, good channel estimation performance, and the ability to implement CDM in the frequency domain to increase multiplexing gain.

摘要: Methods and systems are provided for signaling for semi-static configuration in grant free uplink transmissions. Radio resource control (RRC) signaling is used to provide information from a base station to a user equipment (UE) that configure the grant free transmission resource to be used by the UE. In some implementations, the RRC signaling may be used in conjunction with system information that is transmitted to all UEs and/or Downlink Control Information (DCI) that the UE needs to access subsequent to the RRC signaling. In some implementations, the DCI includes an activation or deactivation indicator that the UE monitors to determine when the UE is allowed to transmit to the BS or should stop transmitting. Implementations allow for grant free transmission resources to be configured on an individual user based and a group basis.
