摘要: Disclosed is an improved electronic image printing method, which uses a fourfold-laminated sheet B comprising a substrate, a mold-release layer, an adhesive layer and a milk white layer joined on top of each other in the order named, and a triple-laminated sheet A comprising a substrate, a mold-release layer and a resin layer joined on top of each other in the order named, thereby permitting a white letter or pattern to be printed on a piece of colored cloth. The adhesive layer may be selected to be appropriate for sticking fast to the material of which an article to be printed is made.

摘要: To economically produce a polyacetal copolymer excellent in properties including thermal stability by copolymerizing trioxane as the main monomer through simple steps, a polyacetal copolymer is produced by copolymerizing trioxane as the main monomer using a nonvolatile protonic acid catalyst as a polymerization catalyst until the conversion reaches at least 60% (based on all monomers), and then vaporizing unreacted monomers to separate, remove, and recover the same from the polymerization system to thereby reduce the residual monomer content of the polymerization system to 5% by weight or lower.

摘要: A process for producing a polyacetal copolymer, which is extremely heat-stable and is extremely reduced in the quantity of unstable terminals even in a high polymerization yield in which trioxane as the principal monomer, comprises copolymerization of trioxane as the principal monomer with a cyclic ether or cyclic formal having at least one carbon-to-carbon bond as the comonomer by using a specific heteropoly-acid or acid salt thereof as a polymerization catalyst until the content of the remaining monomers is lowered to at most 10% by weight based on all the monomers fed, adding 0.01 to 10% by weight, based on the resulting crude polymer, of a solution containing a catalyst deactivator, or contacting a basic gas as the deactivator to deactivate the catalyst, and subjecting the crude polymer as such to heat melting treatment without washing thereof.

摘要: An optical disk player for compensating a waveform distortion of a read signal which is caused due to a skew in the track tangential direction of an optical disk. An optical disk is constructed in a manner such that a skew amount of the irradiated portion of a recording surface of the optical disk for a light beam irradiated onto the recording surface of the optical disk is detected from the pickup and transmitting characteristics of a read signal generated from the pickup are controlled in accordance with the detected skew amount. A waveform distortion of the read signal due to a warp or distortion existing in the track tangential direction of the optical disk can be compensated and the recording data can be accurately reproduced.

摘要: A dewatering apparatus of filter belt type has a guide member having a guide surface whose radius of curvature becomes smaller in the direction of belt travel. An endless roller chain travels along the guide member. A restricting sprocket has a pair of engaging tooth surfaces for engaging with rollers of said roller chain and is rotatably supported near one end portion of the guide member. Endless filter belts hold sludge between an upper filter belt and a lower filter belt. The filter belts are arranged to partly overlap on the rollers from a side of the guide surface of a larger radius of curvature and to depart from the rollers at a side of the guide surface of a smaller radius of curvature, whereby the upper filter belt and the lower filter belt are separated from each other to discharge the sludge. Driving rollers give a traction to the filter belts at a side at which the filter belts are separated from the roller chain.

摘要: A hydraulic damper has a first oil chamber, a second oil chamber, a communication mechanism defining a communication oil passage, the first and second oil chambers communicating with each other through the communication oil passage, and a damping force adjusting mechanism for varying a cross-sectional area of the communication oil passage to adjust damping forces. The damping force adjusting mechanism includes an adjusting rod having an end disposed in a portion of the communication oil passage, the adjusting rod being movable toward and away from the communication oil passage to vary the cross-sectional area of the communication oil passage, an eccentric cam rotatably disposed in engagement with an opposite end of the adjusting rod, and a rotary actuator for rotating the eccentric cam to move the adjusting rod toward and away from the communication oil passage to adjust the damping forces.

摘要: A process for efficiently producing a hollow molding or a sheet- or rod-shaped molding includes subjecting a composition containing a polyoxymethylene copolymer resin having substantially a linear molecular structure and a melt flow index (MI) value (190.degree. C., 2160 g load) of 0.1 to 2.0 g/10 min to blow -molding or extrusion-molding operations. The preferred polyoxymethylene copolymer is prepared by copolymerizing trioxane as the principle monomer with a cyclic ether or cyclic formal comonomer in the presence of 1.times.10.sup.-3 to 1.times.10.sup.-2 molar % of a boron trifluoride catalyst or a coordination compound thereof, while regulating the chain-terminating or chain-transferring impurities in the reaction system to 1.times.10.sup.-2 molar % or less, and then cooling the product obtained to a temperature of 45.degree. or below within 30 seconds so as to deactivate the catalyst.

摘要: There is provided a display device capable of displaying an image that barely changes with low power consumption on the basis of video data included in a transmitted command, and there is also provided a method for driving the same. A display timing controller (31) determines every frame period whether or not an externally transmitted command includes updated video data. As a result, when it is determined that no updated video data is included, screen refreshing is paused by not reading video data stored in frame memory (36). Moreover, when it is determined that updated video data is included, the screen refreshing is performed by reading video data stored in the frame memory (36).
