摘要： A magnetic tape cassette having a lower half portion with a photo-sensor inserting hole. The upper half is mated with the lower half to form a cassette body. A tape supplying reel and a tape winding reel are disposed in the body. A reel retaining plate of elastic material is employed for depressing the tops of the reels. The reel retaining plate is fixedly secured to an inner surface of the upper half of the cassette body which is in alignment with said photo-sensor inserting hole.

摘要： An automatic reset circuit located on an integrated circuit chip, for providing automatically a reset signal to circuit elements which are required to be reset when a power supply is turned on. The reset circuit comprises a reset signal output means for providing a reset signal, a level detecting means for detecting that the electric potential of the power supply has reached a predetermined level, and a latching means for cutting off the reset signal according to the detecting output of the level detecting means. Once the latching means cuts off the reset signal, the latching means holds it so until the power supply voltage falls down to a certain level lower than the predetermined level.

摘要： An open end spinning machine includes a plurality of spinning units. Each spinning unit includes a first yarn breakage sensing device assuming a yarn sensing, operative position, in which it contacts the yarn, when the spinning unit is in a normal spinning operation and an inoperative position, in which it is not in contact with the yarn, when the spinning unit is in a transient condition either from or to the normal spinning operation, and a second yarn breakage sensing device assuming a yarn sensing position at least when the spinning unit is in the transient condition. Upon occurrence of yarn breakage when the spinning unit is in the transient condition, such breakage is detected by the second yarn breakage sensing device and the supply of fibers to the associated spinning unit is interrupted by the second yarn breakage sensing device.

摘要： A tape clamp to be fitted into a recess of a hub in a magnetic tape magazine to fix an end of a recording tape to the hub includes a body portion having a curved outer surface, a pair of lugs projecting from the inner surface of the body portion, and a pair of ribs, each rib connecting the free end of a lug and an intermediate point on the inner surface of the body portion. The ribs are inwardly and resiliently deflected when the tape clamp is fitted into the recess. The outer surface of the body portion has an inherent curvature slightly larger than that of the peripheral surface of the hub and is bowed to have a curvature substantially equal to that of the peripheral surface of the hub when the ribs are deflected.

摘要： A method of automatically piecing up a yarn in an open-end spinning machine by rotating the draw off rollers and winding drum in a direction opposite to their normal rotating directions; rotating the feed rollers according to a predetermined program so that the feed rollers begin to rotate after an end of the yarn is moved back into the spinning rotor where the moved back yarn is pieced up with the newly spun yarn; rotating both the draw off rollers and the winding drum in their normal rotating direction, and starting the traverse motion of the traverse guide, which takes place after the pieced joint reaches a contacting line formed between the winding drum and the cheese.By utilizing this method and machine, the number of yarn breakages occuring during starting operation is decreased.
