    Abstract: This disclosure discloses a rotary electrical machine of a variable field type configured to change a field magnetic flux. The rotary electrical machine includes a stator including stator windings and a stator core, and a rotor including a shaft rotatably supported, a rotor core relatively rotatably mounted on the shaft, and a plurality of first permanent magnets disposed on the rotor core. The rotor core is configured to be held at a predetermined angular position with respect to the shaft with a magnetic suction force of the first permanent magnet, and to increase a relative angle with the shaft in response to an increase of a load torque against the magnetic suction force. The rotor core has an approximately same axial length as the stator core.

    Abstract: Provided is an operation command generation device, which is configured to generate an operation command, which is a collection of jobs to be performed by a process system of at least a robot, based on a protocol chart of at least a plurality of process symbols, the operation command generation device circuitry includes: a job generation unit configured to generate, based on the protocol chart, a job; a priority instruction unit configured to instruct a priority condition for determining a job execution order; and an execution order determination unit configured to determine an execution order of the jobs based on the priority instructed by the priority instruction unit by using a first condition about repeatedly execution of the jobs according to the number of the containers and a second condition about execution order of the jobs according to the arrangement of the process symbols in the protocol chart.

    Abstract: An industrial communication system includes multiple industrial instruments connected in series and including a first industrial instrument and a second industrial instrument connected to the first industrial instrument. The first industrial instrument includes a first storage that stores a first communication setting that is applicable to communication established between the industrial instruments, first reception circuitry that receives, based on the first communication setting stored in the first storage, a first signal from the second industrial instrument of the industrial instruments, a second storage that stores a second communication setting that is applicable to the communication established between the industrial instruments and that is a predetermined communication setting common to each of the industrial instruments, and second reception circuitry that receives, based on the second communication setting stored in the second storage, a second signal including at least a part of the first signal received by the first reception circuitry.

    Abstract: A robot arm includes a first member, a second member, an actuator, and a speed reducer. The second member is pivotable relative to the first member about a pivot axis. The actuator is configured to pivotally move the second member relative to the first member about the pivot axis. The speed reducer is configured to couple the actuator to the second member to reduce a rotational speed of the second member relative to an output rotational speed of the actuator. The speed reducer includes a grease chamber in which grease is to be provided. The second member including an air chamber in which air is provided, the air chamber being connected to the grease chamber.

    Abstract: A processing system for processing experiment of biochemistry, biology and/or biotechnology includes a manual pipette which includes a piston and suctions and discharges liquid when the piston of the manual pipette is moved by external drive force, an automatic pipette which includes a piston and a built-in actuator and suctions and discharges liquid when the piston of the automatic pipette is moved by the actuator, a robot including a robotic arm which selects and grasps the manual or automatic pipette based on an operation command, and a robotic arm control device including circuitry which controls the robot such that the robotic arm selects and grasps the manual or automatic pipette based on the operation command. The operation command includes a collection of jobs that controls processes for processing a processing target in an experiment of biochemistry, biology and/or biotechnology and a container containing the processing target in a processing order.
