    摘要： A patient interface gas delivery mask having a forehead and chin support system including a forehead support, a chin support, and a system for supplying a flow of gas to a patient that incorporates such a mask, forehead support, and chin support. The forehead support includes a supporting arm which is adjustably mounted to the mask shell, thereby allowing the adjustment of the distance between the forehead support bracket and the mask shell in order to adjust for patient's of different sizes. A forehead support bracket is pivotally connected to the support arm. Likewise the chin support is also adjustably mounted to the mask shell.

The forehead support is arranged in such a way that it can be positioned relative to the base of the mask. A connecting device that couples the forehead support with the base of the mask is flexible. The connecting device is arranged so that it can be moved relative to a guide in such a way that the connecting device projects a predeterminable distance from the guide and can be locked in at least two different positions relative to the guide.

Various embodiments are directed to a full-face or nasal mask used with a frame having lateral connector portions having a stiffening member. The mask assembly may include a nose height adjustment device for the height of the cushion, or a cushion adjustment member by which the position of the cushion may be adjusted relative to the frame. The mask assembly may include a chin strap assembly.

    摘要： A patient interface for a breathing assistance system may include a facial seal releasably coupled to a seal support. The seal support may include an opening and a first connection portion extending at least substantially around the opening. The facial seal may include a first side having a first seal opening and configured to provide a seal against a patient's face, a second side having a second seal opening, and a passageway extending between the first and second seal openings for delivering breathing gas to the patient. The facial seal may further include a second connection portion extending at least substantially around the second seal opening. The second connection portion may be deformed to mate with the first connection portion to releasably couple the facial seal to the seal support and to form a seal between the facial seal and the seal support.
