摘要： A single use, disposable reservoir (30) of low volume for use in conjunction with a spray gun (1) for spray painting small areas, for example nullspray outnull cards for colour matching a paint mix for spray painting a vehicle. The reservoir (30) is in the form of a syringe body (32) with a plunger (34) having a sealing member (54) slidable within the body (32) for drawing paint (57) into the body (32) via an open end (38). The body (32) has an aperture (42) adjacent to a closed end (36) and the plunger (34) can be moved to position the sealing member (54) between the aperture (42) and closed end (36) for releasing a partial vacuum created when the paint (57) is drawn into the body (32) and allow the paint (57) to be withdrawn, in use, when the reservoir (30) is connected to a spray gun (1) without actuating the plunger (34). In other embodiments, the reservoir (60;80) comprises a concertina-type body (66) or a pipette body (82).

摘要： An assembly for feeding liquid to the inlet port of a gravity feed sprayer. The assembly includes (1) a mixing cup of a known type commonly used to mix paint with solvent that is of stiff polymeric material and bears indicia on its side wall indicating the levels to which a plurality of different liquids should be sequentially poured into the cup to achieve a predetermined ratio between the liquids; (2) a first adapter comprising a central portion having a through opening and a transverse portion including a peripheral part defining a groove along its inner surface adapted for sealing engagement with a top end of the mixing cup; and (3) a second adapter having a through opening, a first end portion of which second adapter is adapted to releasably engage the inlet port of a gravity feed paint sprayer. A second end portion of the second adapter and the central portion of the first adapter have connector parts adapted for releasable liquid tight engagement between the adapters with their through openings in communication.

摘要： An assembly for making accurate mixtures of liquid components and feeding that liquid mixture to the inlet port of a sprayer. The assembly includes (1) a container of stiff visually transparent polymeric material comprising a side wall with a frusto conical inner surface, and a bottom wall at the bottom end of the side wall opposite a top end of the side wall that defines an opening into a cavity in the container. A flexible liner positioned within the cavity in the container has an outer surface corresponding in shape to the inner surface of said container, an inner surface defining a cavity in the liner, and an annular lip along the top end of the side wall defining an opening into the cavity in the liner. An indicating sheet of resiliently flexible polymeric material is positioned between the side wall of the container and the flexible liner, conforms in shape to the inner surface of the container, and bears indicia visible through the side wall of the container that indicates the levels to which a plurality of different component liquids can be sequentially poured into the cavity in the flexible liner to achieve a predetermined ratio between the liquids.

摘要： An industrial spray gun cup structure includes a connector, a guide member, a collar and a cover body. A reception section of the cup is engaged with the guide member so that the cup can be only normally rotated without rotating and loosening other parts. The cup is integrally formed with inclined ribs which are tightly fitted with corresponding connecting sections of the cover body. While rotating the cover body by a certain angle, the ribs can be separated from or inserted with the connecting sections so as to open or close the cover body. Therefore, the cover body can be conveniently rotated to firmly and tightly fit with the cup without leakage.

摘要： A drying nozzle is comprised of a tube for mounting on a nozzle head of a spray gun. The body contains inlet slits for ambient air entering one tube end which taper in a direction of the interior of the tube. The body expands toward the other tube end. Upon mounting the body on the nozzle head the narrowest region of the tube between the tapering region of the inlet slits and the expanding region of the tube lies directly behind an air outlet opening when seen in direction of flow of the air passing out of the air outlet opening of the nozzle head. Upon supplying compressed air in the center of the tubular body a negative pressure in the tube interior is produced and as a result of which ambient air is drawn into one tube end and passes out at the other tube end together with the compressed air.

摘要： The adapter is useful in providing overhead gravity feed of paint to a conventional air spray paint gun having a bottom paint inlet port. The adapter includes a paint receptacle with a closable top lid and a bottom outlet. The receptacle can be transparent and bear volume indicia so that the amount of paint left in the receptacle can be estimated as spraying proceeds. The receptacle lid can be hinged and bear a releasable latch plate. The adapter also includes a conduit, the upper end of which is releasably connected to the receptacle at the outlet. The conduit depends from the receptacle and is adapted to support it in the upright position directly above an air spray paint gun. The conduit includes an upper laterally and downwardly adapted to flank the side of the spray gun curved portion, a transverse lower portion connected to the lower end of the upper portion and an upwardly directed central lower end bearing a connector to pivotably connect the conduit to the bottom paint inlet port of an air spray paint gun. Thus, the position of the paint receptacle and conduit can be changed by pivoting the conduit. Moreover, in one embodiment, the transverse portion is long enough to enable the upper portion of the conduit to be swung around the front of the nozzle to switch sides thereof. When the upper portion is also curved forwardly or rearwardly, such switching selectively centers the receptacle over the nozzle or handle to facilitate painting selected areas of the floor, ceiling or walls of a structure. The conduit can also include a stop cock or valve to close paint flow to the gun from the receptacle. The valve can be connected to and operated by the gun trigger.
