The bag is designed for fresh produce and includes front and rear panels, first and second side gussets, a bottom seam, a top seam and a U-shaped cutout forming an openable bag mouth and a pair of carrying handles. The bags are joined above and below the upper and lower seams at first and second perforation lines. The bags are wound onto a cylindrical core to form a compact roll. In a variant of the invention, the bags are folded inwardly from the side edges prior to rolling onto the core to form a more compact roll. Dispensers are described that are designed to hold the roll mounted bags in both folded and unfolded form. The dispensers include a separating tongue designed to engage the U-shaped cutout and permit the bags to be dispensed from the bottom of the bag roll. The dispensers are designed for mounting to either vertical or horizontal surfaces and function efficiently in very limited spaces.

The tube also has first, second, and third sections. The second section being disposed between the first and third sections. 摘要： A method of forming a plurality of easy to open handle bags is provided. The method includes providing a flattened tube of thermoplastic material oriented in a generally longitudinal direction. The flattened tube has a first longitudinal side edge, a second longitudinal side edge, and a transverse heat seal. The tube has first, second, and third sections. The second section is disposed between the first and third sections. The first section is joined to the second section along a generally longitudinal first fold line. The second section is joined to the third section along a generally longitudinal second fold line. A generally rectangular hole is cut through the second section. The generally rectangular hole has a top edge and a bottom edge. The generally rectangular hole is contained transversely between the first and second fold lines. The tube is then Z-folded such that the second section is folded over the third section along the second fold line and the first section is folded over the folded second and third sections along the first fold line. As a result, the first, second, and third sections overlap one another. A line of weakness is formed adjacent the heat seal. The overlapped first, second, and third sections are cut along a first cut line that intersects the line of weakness, extends therefrom past the bottom edge of the generally rectangular hole, and intersects the first fold line. The overlapped first, second, and third sections are also cut along a second cut line that intersects the line of weakness, extends therefrom past the bottom edge of the generally rectangular hole, and intersects the second fold line.

摘要： A bag dispenser, for separating and dispensing a series of plastic bags where one end is attached to the top of the next bag by perforation lines with a slot therebetween. The series of bags are dispensed from a device comprising a wire frame formed into channels to support the core that the series of bags are rolled onto. The channels allow the core to rotate in place but restrict its linear movement to the vertical direction. The dispenser has two braking devices, a braking bar underneath the roll of bags and a pair of fingers that are attached to the channels to engage the core. The braking bar is positioned transversely to the series of bags so that it supports them. The pair of fingers does not engage the core until the number of bags on the core has decreased and the core has begun to descend. The two braking devices work in combination to retard the rotation and dispensing of the bags and thus to apply a tension to the series of bags. Attached to the frame is a separator with, preferably, a symmetric projection on its end. The projection will engage the slot regardless of whether the bags are drawn over or under the projection. Additionally, the separator is preferably coiled in its midsection to function as a spring. As the user pulls on the bags, a tension is created by the braking devices and the user to deflect the separator which remains deflected until the projection engages the slot. Thus, when the separator engages the slot, the separator recoils through its normal position to facilitate the separation of the two bags.
