Abstract:
The invention relates to an interlacing device which can be used automatically to interlace long products on a transport pallet in an economical and optimum manner, which can be adapted to tubes of any length and which operates concurrently with the palletizing machine. The inventive interlacing device (10) is characterized in that it comprises at least one interlacing gantry (11) which extends parallel to the palletized products along at least part of the length thereof and which comprises at least one wire guide (20), the wire guide being fed by at least one interlacing (12′) link reel (12). The aforementioned interlacing device (10) also comprises drive means (14) which are connected to the interlacing gantry (11) in order to move same alternatively between at least two end positions such as to move the guide wire (20) alternatively from one side of the transport pallet (7) to the other in at least one interlacing plane (P) which is essentially perpendicular to the palletized products (2). The invention is suitable for palletizing any long product, e.g. cylindrical tubes.

Store for stocking tubes therein, comprising means (4) for feeding tubes (1) into the store, and means (7) for unloading the tubes (1) therefrom, the store being located between said supply means (4) and said unloading means (7), characterized in that it comprises a plurality of supports (8) each of which defines a plane inclined towards said unloading means (7) and able to receive a plurality of tubes (1) from said supply means (4): each of said supports (8) being movable between a stand-by position where it is empty, a position of transit of tubes (1) in which it defines an inclined plane, which connects said tube-supplying means (4) said tube-unloading means (7), and a stock position in which it is full up.

A cooling bed equipped with steel bar automatic stop motion, comprising braking apparatuses which stop by their simultaneous motion steel bars running freely into the run-in table at or around the predetermined position, one or more oscillators to operate said braking apparatuses and an automatic control board whereby signal of oscillator is converted to power control by a selective delay apparatus to work said braking apparatuses.

A conveyor for simultaneously rotating and advancing cylindrical articles, such as lengths of pipe along a predetermined path of movement. Rollers having substantially spherical surfaces are mounted in two spaced parallel rows with the planes of rotation of the rollers in each row being parallel to each other. Roller drive is by a cylindrical member rotating on a fixed axis engaging the two rows of rollers from below, while the conveyed pipe lies in the trough formed by the two rows of rollers. The angle of the planes of rotation of the two rows can be simultaneously varied in opposite directions about an axis through the pipe by a pair of oppositely movable operating members extending the length of the conveyor and the mounting means are interconnected for simultaneous angle variation.

A method of and apparatus for transferring flexible tubular articles, such as elongated collapsible tube bodies, from a longitudinal feeding means onto an endless pin conveyor disposed at right angles thereto wherein the articles are positively gripped and transferred from the longitudinal feeding means to the pin conveyor while the latter remains in continuous motion.
