摘要:
A papermaker's fabric includes a base fabric structure that includes MD yarns and primary CMD yarns interlaced to form a papermaking surface. The papermaker's fabric further includes first and second auxiliary CMD yarns positioned between each pair of adjacent primary CMD yarns. Each first auxiliary CMD yarn has an interlacing pattern relative to the MD yarns that is identical to a first of the pair of adjacent primary CMD yarns, and each second auxiliary CMD yarn has an interlacing pattern relative to the MD yarns that is identical to a second of the pair of adjacent primary CMD yarns. The first auxiliary CMD yarn is positioned between the second primary and auxiliary CMD yarns.

An endless woven fabric for condensing paper material and a method for forming such an endless fabric which removes ink and other extraneous substances from the aqueous solution of reclaimed paper material. On the endless fabric formed by weaving plastic monofilaments, an antiflexing part, 30-50 mm in width, is provided on at least one end of the selvage in the direction of width by causing thermoplastic resin to fill not less than 85% of an empty space in the endless woven fabric. Further, a guide ridge of thermoplastic resin is formed by causing thermoplastic resin to fill an empty space in the end parts on the running surface of the endless fabric, and is welded with the antiflexing part integrally. Platelike reinforcing strips are formed in a length nearly equal to the width of the endless fabric. The strips are extended between the opposite ends of the endless fabric by causing thermoplastic resin of the strips to fill not less than 85% of an empty space in the endless fabric.

A two-layer woven fabric for paper-making where a paper-making side woven fabric and a running side woven fabric are combined together by pairs of auxiliary wefts which are placed adjacent to each of wefts of both fabrics. When one of a pair of the auxiliary wefts is placed over a paper-making side warp filling a concave portion formed by the warp, the other auxiliary weft is placed under a running side warp thereby connecting both the paper-making side and the running side fabrics together.

A backside textured papermaking belt is disclosed which is comprised of a framework and a reinforcing structure. The framework has a first surface which defines the paper-contacting side of the belt, a second surface opposite the first surface, and conduits which extend between first and second surfaces of the belt. The first surface of the framework has a paper side network formed therein which defines the conduits. The second surface of the framework has a backside network with passageways that provide surface texture irregularities in the backside network. The papermaking belt is made by applying a coating of photosensitive resinous material to a reinforcing structure which has opaque portions, and then exposing the photosensitive resinous material to light of an activating wavelength through a mask which has transparent and opaque regions and also through the reinforcing structure. A process for making paper products is also disclosed which involves applying a fluid pressure differential from a vacuum source through the belt to a partially-formed embryonic web of papermaking fibers. The fibers in the embryonic web are deflected into the conduits of the papermaking belt by the vacuum pressure while the papermaking belt and the embryonic web travel over the vacuum source. Following the deflection, the paper web is impressed with the paper side network of the belt, and dried to form the final product.

A multilayered press screen for wet presses of a paper machine exhibits a capillary and/or adhesive water reservoir that is integrated into the cloth at a distance from both the contact surface for the web to be dewatered and from the machine running side.

A bending resistant part of an endless multilayer fabric for densifying paper materials is placed on a trimming part; to thereby prevent cutting of a fabric at the trimming part. Also oblique movement and dropping off a guide protrusion is prevented. Particularly, a bending resistant part is formed by filling a polyurethane resin in internal structure of an endless fabric of trimming part of the width direction of the fabric woven with arranging at least three layers of weft. A guide protrusion molded from similar polyurethane is arranged on the bending resistant part by fusion. Cutting caused by bending and wearing of the fabric near the guide protrusion is prevented.

A papermakers forming fabric having two layers of CMD yarns interwoven with a system of MD yarns to form a multilayer fabric. The paper support surface CMD yarn layer has at least three times as many CMD yarns as the machine contact surface CMD yarn layer. The higher count of upper layer CMD yarns provides an improved paper forming/carrying surface with improved drainage characteristics.

A papermakers fabric having a system of monofilament machine direction yarns (hereinafter MD yarns) which control the permeability of the fabric. The present weave provides for usage of high aspect ratio yarns as structural weave components. The system of MD yarns comprises multiple layers of yarns which are vertically stacked. Preferably, upper MD yarns define floats on the upper surface of the fabric and each upper MD yarn is grouped in a vertically stacked orientation with an intermediate and a lower MD yarn.

An extendable and heat shrinkable polyamide monofilament which has an extension of 6% or more to a loading variation in the range of 1.25 g/d-1.75 g/d and a heat shrinkage factor of 7% or more on immersing said monofilament into boiling water. The recited polyamide monofilament is woven into a wear-resistant fabric such as a papermaking fabric.
摘要:
A papermaking fabric and method therefor is disclosed which may be used as a support fabric or a carrier fabric for paper material on a papermaking machine. The fabric, designated generally as (A) includes a first layer (B) of warp yarns (32, 34, 36, and 38) extending in a machine direction. A second layer (C) of warp yarns (42, 44, 46 and 48) is included in the fabric vertically spaced from the first layer. The warp yarns of the first and second layer form stacked pairs (52, 54, 56, and 58) which reinforce the fabric in a machine direction to enhance its stability. At the same time, the stacked pairs may be spaced apart in a cross-machine direction sufficiently to provide a desired degree of openness and fabric permeability. Fabric openness in the range of thirty percent or more of the total fabric area can be had in accordance with the fabric of the present invention without sacrificing the structural stability. A single weft system (40) is interwoven with the first and second warp layers (B and C) in a balanced weave pattern that maintains the warp yarns of the respective layers stacked. The balanced weave pattern of the weft resists lateral shifting of the stacked warp yarns to prevent them from becoming side-by-side. In a preferred embodiment, the fabric is utilized as a base fabric for a resinous layer 62 which supports the paper and has an embossed surface 64 which makes a corresponding pattern in the paper, such as in towel grade paper.
