The mounting member having a keyway to interlock with the key of the drain fitting flange. A locking member engaged with the externally threaded surface of the drain fitting and the proximate the mounting member.

摘要： An oil pan for an engine comprises a containment portion of unitary construction. The containment portion has a circumferential component defining a circumferential extent of the containment portion and comprising a pair of mutually opposing side walls. The containment portion also comprises a base wall extending inwardly from a first portion of the circumferential component and defining a lower extent of the containment portion. The oil pan also comprises an attachment portion comprising an attachment surface at a second portion of the circumferential component; a first plug portion on an interior of a first one of the pair of mutually opposing side walls at a first location; and a second plug portion on an interior of a second one of the pair of mutually opposing side walls at a second location. The first and second plug portions are configured to receive an oil syphon connector and the attachment portion has a rotational symmetry such that the attachment surface is connectable to an engine block in a first orientation and in a second orientation. The first and second plug portions are located such that an oil tube having a fixed location relative to the engine block aligns adjacent the first plug portion on attachment of the attachment portion to the engine block in the first orientation and aligns adjacent the second plug portion on attachment of the attachment portion to the engine block in the second orientation.

摘要： The invention relates to a plug (10) of the type used in threaded openings (AB) of oil pans (CT) of various vehicles. The plug (10) is made in a single piece (20), preferably of iron or other suitable material, the plug (10) having a six-sided head (21). An NPT threaded portion (23) in the shape of a truncated cone extends from the flat face (22) of the six-headed head (21) and has a base (23A) with an increased diameter (d1), the threaded portion extending along the axis (E1) with a slight taper such that the end portion (23B) has a reduced diameter (d2). The slight angle (#) formed by the threaded portion (23) provides gradual sealing points (PV) for punctually sealing damaged threaded openings (AB) of various oil pans (CT), thus preventing leakage of lubricant oil.

The second hole 32a is opened, through the first hole 31a, toward a side opposed to a side where the port part 32 is provided on the body part 31; and a surface of the body part 32 is provided with a locking part 38a projecting with respect to the surface.

A resilient member (64) is disposed in the axially extending cavity between the poppet and the second end, and a spacer (66) is disposed in the axially extending cavity and seating an end of the resilient member opposite the poppet. The poppet is biased in a first position against the poppet seat by the resilient member to prevent fluid flow through the axially extending cavity.
