摘要: A construction of recuperator core segments is provided which insures proper assembly of the components of the recuperator core segment, and of a plurality of recuperator core segments. Each recuperator core segment must be constructed so as to prevent nesting of fin folds of the adjacent heat exchanger foils of the recuperator core segment. A plurality of recuperator core segments must be assembled together so as to prevent nesting of adjacent fin folds of adjacent recuperator core segments.

摘要: A plate fin type heat exchanger capable of developing a performance required for a plate regeneration of a micro gas turbine power generating device, i.e., achieving an increased heat exchanging efficiency and increased durability under violent variation in heat load and formed to have an excellent mass-productivity, wherein all fins are formed inde-pendently of each other for each low-temperature side path without brazing the entire fin inside a high-temperature side path, though all fini in the high temperature side path are non-nally brazed to the low-temperature side path, so as to relieve a thermal stres-s due to nonuniform temperature distribution inside and over the entire surface of a fluid path caused when high-temperature combustion gas flows therein, and the fins in the high-temperature side path are reduced in size and fixed to the low-temperature path side, a small spacer bar is disposed at a portion where the fins are;not provided for the manufacture of core assembling elements, and the elements are laminated, for example, by seal welding the spacer bars to each other so as to extremely facilitate the assembly.

摘要: The invention concerns a heat exchanger comprising a stack of plates defining passages, containing corrugated fins comprising a transverse section with repeated corrugated pattern extending between two upper and lower end planes. The pattern comprises a base corrugated pattern (M) comprising corrugated legs (13) linked to corrugated summits (16) and corrugated bases (17), said base pattern being modified by a sub-pattern (M1) which defines, between at least some corrugated legs, additional leading edges (20, 21) located at an intermediate level between the planes. The invention is applicable to cryogenic gas-gas heat exchangers.

摘要: Primary surface recuperators generally undergo severe thermal and pressure cycles. Thermal cycling tends to cause the primary surface recuperator to expand along a central axis. However ducting connected with the primary surface recuperator tends to limit its expansion. Constructing bars in cells of the primary surface recuperator from the same material as the ducting tends to reduce thermal stresses that may otherwise result from difference in thermal expansion.
